Valentines day leaving me confused, help out

Ok this chick, i sent her flowers on her bday and she called me and really liked em etc.
that was mid janruary.

Since then we've talked a bit but not as much as id like, i let this out to one of her friends and she said 'its not like u've really tried that hard' so obviously theres somethin there.

After that this chick found out i told her friend that, she walked up and tapped me on the arm.

I jokingly asked if she did that to everyone.
She explained how she wasnt 'snobing' me but had been grounded etc and culdnt see me etc.

So i send her flowers today with a msg asking sayin:
"happy valentines day, I'd like to get to know you better, and i'd to see u sometime. call me if ur keen." (approximatly).

When she got em she sent me a msg sayin she didnt know what to say.

I msg'd her saying that i culdnt call her right now but I liked her and think it culd work etc.

Called her after and she said that she was still not sure, I said how about we just go out as friends sometime.
And she was like 'yeah friends, lets hangout' , also mentioned she wanted to get to know me better.

She seemed keen on that. So i think that she just wants to get to know me more and when shes keen we'll 'date'.

Can someone else read this differently perhaps?

I know it doesnt make too much sense what i wrote, but i can clarrify on points if needed. These small msg boxes trip me out.

Poor guy,

Listen mate, you have to face up to it, she DOESNT like you. Take a step back and look at the situation, do you really like her? Or are you just saying that because you thought you could get her. People have a habit of liking people that they think like them (which in its own can be used as a seduction technique, but thats another matter).

So the verdict: Give up, start approaching plenty of girls and explore a little bit. In future DO NOT buy girls presents unless you are in an EXTREMELY commited relationship (IE. you are BOTH committed, not just one party). Good luck with your future exploits.

P.S. Please dont keep trying, for you own sake realise shes blown her chance and its time to move on.

I agree, I realise she was talkin thru her friend but i think shes just shy as.

All these situations are the same. All though i know the right thing for you to do, you probably wont do it. After all, i'm just a stranger from the internet, what do i know?

Whatever we say, you will keep trying, it has happened to all of us. But i will give you this advice:

Hurry the **** up and do it, ask her out somewhere, then we you can move on earlier and you can start waking up to yourself.
