What the **** just happened. And what should my response be? There was definite sexual chemistry.

It's a civil sendoff but the semi-sarcastic tone tells her that you know whoever this other guy is can't hold a candle to you. Best case scenario you implant that in her head, it sabotages her relationship with this other guy, and she comes running back to you, the super confident man.

I would say nothing. Keep her hamster spinning about whether you are talking to other women. She obviously liked you enough to mess around with you in your car, so I would not lose hope. Let her come back to you...let go of her in your head and do not jump on your feet if she contacts you. Be really cool about it and take a little longer to respond to the initial text.
