I just got back from having sex with my GF (of only 2 months) and during sex my condom got stuck inside her and half of my load. She takes BC pills but today she took it only an hour before we had sex (she told me after).

I'm going to talk to her in 15 min on the phone.

What are some ways to help prevent her getting pregnant? Warm shower?
digging it out? some food or drink?

I know this sounds stupid but would her lifting weights to increase testosterone help?

Please help me and reply quick.

my bad for not mentioning it

Tell her a little about yourself, but not too much. Maintain some mystery. Give her something to think about and wonder about when she's at home.

Get her to the doctors straight away, and they will give you a morning after pill.

If she's taking the birth control pill every day, then there shouldn't be any problem.

Was she more than a day late or something?

oh the hilarity of this forum...

I've never had a condom roll into a girl, but every few weeks I have a condom roll underneath my foreskin---ouch.

Yea that's pretty funny. You're supposed to hold the damn thing when you pull out, just in case something like that happens. Also I would refrain from buying those Magnum XL's, cause it's not too fun if it's all baggy and you gotta use a rubber band to keep it on, haha.

Holy sh*t! I've never had that happen to me but it sounds like death scratching your nuts with his scythe!

To the original poster: RELAX. You're fine...if this is even a serious post.

It is.

All I can do is hope that not too much got in and the BC pills work.

I used a non-latex one which was very lubed up(duralamb). What is the best non-latex brand?

EDIT: Do morning after pills require a prescription? If they do, why don't they sell them over the counter?

Probably the same reason they require prescriptions for some painkillers and anesthetics. My guess is because it's federally regulated in some way, and they don't want people coming in abusing it and stocking up for their sex-filled weekends. If it's a bigger deal to get then people will more likely learn their lesson from the time they needed to get it. Promoting safer sex in some way would be the overall idea.

Like IsiMan said...they're not sold over the counter in order to regulate use. Otherwise, women might rely on something like that as a main method of b.c....but its supposed to be used infrequently, in the case of a real emergency.

Its not like taking an Aspirin. You're girlfriend would be sick for a few days. They prevent conception, but do so by...well, inducing something comparable to a miscarriage, I think. So there would be some minor risks involved.

Also, they are a bit controversial. Some people are against them in theory. Including some doctors.

Morning.......After..........Pill.....

Now that was easy

Here in the UK you can gt it from an NHS drop in centre.....Has to be taken within 24 hours of sex.

Morning after pills do not create a miscarrage.
They simply prevent conception. IOW, they prevent the sperm from furtilizing the egg. The morning after pill is simply a strong dose of birth control.

The controversy is purely a moral one. Just like catholics are agains condoms for the same reason.

They don't have to be taken within 24 hours. The sooner the better but there is a 72 hour window in wich they can be taken (although the chance of pregancy increases with time.)

Some states require a prescription some don't. Call (1 800 not 2 late) to get more info.

YOU do not need to be raising a baby. get your girl a dose.

It doesn't matter how good-looking you are, how romantic you are, how funny you are... or anything else. If she doesn't have something INVESTED in you and the relationship, preferably quite a LOT invested, she'll dump you, without even the slightest hesitation, as soon as someone a little more "interesting" comes along.

If she's on BC, I wouldn't worry about it too much, and kudos to you for using two types of BC. I hope to hell you know FOR SURE that she takes her BC. It's a good backup for mishaps like this one.

If she's been on the pill for more than a few months and has been taking it religiously, you're fine... she won't get pregnant. The chances of a girl getting pregnant when she's not on the pill are rather low, actually (statistically speaking)... it has to happen at the right point in her cycle (there's a time between her period and the point where she begins ovulating whereabouts she can't get pregnant because her body has not yet begun to produce another egg) so being on the pill reduces these chances to almost nil.

As long as you got the condom out, you have absolutely nothing to worry about. The pill doesn't just leave her system in a day.. it has a rather large half-life where it's effects remain for some time after having not taken it for a while. She can miss a day, here and there, and it won't really affect anything.

Miss a pill 3 days in a row and then start to worry.

Every GF I've had that was on the pill, I never used a condom... ever and always came inside of them. I was never worried about pregnancy. To each hbis own, and do what I've done at your won risk... I trusted these girls and I knew they had bigger plans and didn't want to get pregnant, so there's no way they would "accidentally" miss a pill or something.

Thanks Canadian , that helped me worry alot less.

She and I both have big plans.

Edit: I dont know what stage. She will be very random and have a period once a month or once every three months or sometimes a whole month of it.

Chances are nothing will happen, but from personal experience (not this exactly) but now that she has a reason... don't let her try fool you into thinking she's pregnant if she's not...

I'm assuming most girls aren't this crazy (and hopefully, ur girl is cool!) but I sure as hell got the one that slipped through the net! so just be careful!
