We all know it is not in a man's genetic make up to be monogamous with one chick. Yes it is feels nice to have someone there for you at times, but ask yourself why. Something in your life is missing and I can guarantee its not the company of some female. Assuming your spinning plates properly, and your at least a 6/10 male... you should never commit to one woman because it is inevitable that you will find one better…and fast.

The only excuse for any guy to get in a relationship is when a chick comes along way out of your league, bottom line- I truly believe that no man who is at least a 6/10, with the knowledge of this site should ever commit to anything less than a 9. An 8 is acceptable as long as it's temporary.

I've gone nuts over chicks not worth my time before but it was usually out of laziness. I was attracted to them physically enough to put up with their ****, I was tired of playing the field, so I settled…and tricked myself into thinking I liked them and wanted a relationship. Looking back on it now I think it was . Bull**** I was just lazy. As a male with a 7/10 face and a body better than 99% of the male population I will refuse to date anything less than a 8.5 again. The guys here who are 8's and such should be going for 9's..

Anyway, the way I rate, I don't believe in 10s (a 10 would be perfect, and no one is perfect). I've only given two girls I've ever met a 9. The vast, vast majority of hot women I lump into the "7" category. You have to be pretty damn impressive to even rate an 8 from me.

I disagree that "leagues" are a social construct. If you don't believe some women are more attractive than others, you aren't paying attention to reality.

I think that at least half of the problems that newbie guys come on this site for is caused by them dating out of their league. Some dude who is a 5 gets the hots for some attention ho who is a 9, and he ends up getting oneitis over her. That 9 is never going to settle for that 5 when she has too many other, better options.

This is the Sexual Market Place at work. This site addresses that by encouraging guys to improve themselves, and thus improve their SMV.

I agree where are these common HB9s and 10s at....best I rated a woman was a 8.5 everything else has been in the 6-7 range and then the uglies. I go out often so I don't miss much, 30 years old see a lot, add to the fact the social media boom where you can see pretty much anybody online from different countries. I seen average dudes with hot chicks, looks are subjective....every female has a different opinion on whats attractive. Personally I think a lot of people in general are in a herd, crab in the barrell mentality with looks especially when it comes to celebrities

Humans need to understand that there is no such thing as "the one" this is a fairy tale and its has been unhealthy on the human psyche. I believe if 2 people want to be faithful and stick with one person that is fine, but as humans we have so much to learn about each other, you should treat every relationship as a experience, something to learn and grow from. It doesn't have to be about soulmates or twin flames or other old age new agey fluff.


Meet people learn from them, they'll learn from you, grow with them, experience new things and if it doesn't work out no hard feeling. Take what you learned and move on. Humans what everything handed to them, they want all the "answers" and "solutions"

I would argue that if you have reached the level of "true DJ", then your SMV is more than a 6.

Let me expand and clarify a bit on what I was saying. We were talking specifically about long term relationships here - the OP was saying that if you are a 6 you should only get into a relationship with a 9. That sounds like a recipe for disaster to me. An HB9 is not going to settle for a 6 unless she is taking him on as a beta chump to drain his resources while she is out banging other, hotter guys at the club or whatever.

HOWEVER, a guy who is a 6 can most certainly bang an HB9 if he games her right, has a little luck, or there is alcohol involved.

More good news for the guy is that as a male, he can increase his SMV by improving his looks, money, power, and/or status. Status can come from having a good skill (maybe he's the pitcher for the local baseball team) or even being very slick socially.

Now about leagues, yes everybody has different taste. But you all know as well as I that there are some women who are considered attractive by many men. Just because Bob down the street doesn't think she's all that doesn't mean that there aren't a lot of guys who are either chasing her, gaming her, or would jump at the chance if they had it. You all know these women who are hot and in demand, don't deny it. They're not going to drop all that male attention to settle down with a 6. Unless, as I said before, they are using him like a chump.

"Betas" are by definition in the bottom 80-90% in SMV.
You don't think the "alpha" knows he is in top 10%?
You think the "alpha" doesn't know he is in a higher league than the betas?
I would therefore submit that logically, alphas believe in leagues.
