University Noob With Women

Hey guys here's my story:

Back in May I was living as an exchange student in Japan at a high school there. To say the least I had it all guys, I was ultra popular and could talk to anyone I so wished. I basically had to do no work and girls would approach me all the time........but now I'm back to reality and at my first semester of university.

It seems my skills for approaching women just disappeared after having all the girls come to me. There's this one girl in my english class who's caught my eye and who I think is gorgeous. She's pretty quiet and shy but I really want to get to know her and try for a date. The things is, I have no idea what to say and how to even start talking to her. I haven't used those skills for so long I've forgotten them!!

Anyway, she has a friend in the class and I thought that might be my way in if I ask her friend about her, but I don't want to seem like a wuss by going through her friend eh. So I hope you guys can help me out here, I'd love to have a girlfriend but I don't got the skills to make it happen.

Also, just grab your balls and ask her out (don't hesitate, just do it) e.g. Hi (her name), do you have any plans on (whatever day during the week preferably), she gives you an answer if she is free or not then, tell her that both of you should go out for a bite to eat/coffee/ice cream (something not so formal, just casual) and get to know each other a little better, and, take it from there. Ah yes, asking for her phone #, just ask for it (don't hesitate, just do it) e.g. Hi (her name), let me give you a call sometime, whats your number?
