Polo shirts aren't really that "in" anymore where I'm from.

A lot of fashion advice probably varies greatly from place to place, I live in kind of a trendy town and I look pretty normal here but when I visit other places I look way too dressed up.

so fvcking gay. maybe cause I live in the south (USA), but most of those dudes would get called fags around here. The guys I know who are swimmin in poon may be found in a polo or a wife beater or some regular everyday shyt. Around here its more about who you are than what you wear. Try hard gets nada.
actually i have like 5000 posts on styleforum lol

it's my second fav site behind this one.

i will admit there are some... effeminate dudes there but the clothing knowledge is second to none.

Dressing to fit a niche works...for a niche. But niches are pretty small.

Generally how you dress doesn't matter a whole helluva lot. As long as it's clean, well fitted, color coordinated and not unreasonably out of style you should be ok.

I mean how often do you really dress up anyway? 90% of girls I meet I meet in my day to day. So cargo shorts or d!ckies, band or sports tees, possibly long john shirt, maybe dark jeans, chucks/purcells/vavratos or addidas sambas/shelltoes. Sometimes I wear boots.

I'm a dandy. always have been, always will be.

There is no right or wrong answer to does style matter. to me it does. A lot. but **** there is some things that i don't give a **** that matters that some guys are hell bent on, for instance, the type of car you drive. like i will never listen to a song beucse it's a song i am supposed to be listening to that girls like. Fvck that if you are riding with me you are going to listen to whatever the fvck i have in the cd player and you are going to like it.

however, if you dont'; think women don't notice a well put together man you are kidding yourself. they do. why make your job harder than it has to be?

i remember one time, and this changed my entire.. well not changed because i've always been into clothes since i was a teenager, but i was losing weight, i was at the time 20, i went to dillards. there was this very cute black chick there who i asked, just.. you know where can i find some **** lol. she was nice, she talked to me fo ra second but you could tell i mean, she was doing her job. i had just left the gym I had on gym clothes. I mean she kinda got the sense i was trying to pick her up and kinda left before i could get that far.

about.. what.. maybe a month later, it's the day after my birthday, i'm trying to find my dad a wallet for father's day, so i go here to dilliars again, however this time im' dressed to the 9. i had on some disel jeans, a blue and white trucker hat, a french cuff ed white and blue button up with a DKNY black and blue blazer. for the look i was going for i pulled that **** off.

i am not in the store 10 seconds and this girl comes up to me. same chick. hadn't a fvcking clue who i was. i sat there and let her talk.. i look for a wallet, she's looking for reasons to follow me around, then ****, just invites herself to go to lunch with me.. the whole time, she hadn't a clue who i was. when we were at lunch i told her who i was and she was like, wow you look so different. you are cute as hell lol

i ended up dating her a few months later but that's not the point. my point is, why make your job harder than it is. if you cold approach as much as i did, why would you not want every last detail in your favor.

not only that, im' the guy that all the girls take to the mall with them beucase i now what i'm talking about. and when i say i know what i am talking about, lol look at styleforum..that's the major leagues of style we aren't playing around over there we know our ****. when i was single i would have girls drag me to the mall and make me sit there and watch them try on basically underwear wtih shoes lol beucase they valued my opinion on style that much. yeah that's really bad lol.

just little ****. you go somewhere with a girl and the girl has a smirk on her face beucase her man is the best put together dude in the room. **** lke that matters.

hell all you have to do on that forum is go to the lifestyle section of the site and spend some time there. the guys there get much ass. and haven't a slightest clue about game. There are a few times over there where i will see something so bad (Game wise) that the backbreaker in me just has to say something and it's like talking in latin to these dudes, they don't have a fvcking clue at all... i remember telling this one dude on the forum about first dates and how you shouldn't spend money on dates and everyone was like wow that's a great idea. yet these dudes get primeo *****. at least a lot of them do.

Clothes don't really interest me. And the looks considered hip and stylish REALLY don't interest me.

I've gotten way too much ass being a charming, sweet, smooth talking guy in jeans and a t-shirt to worry about whose label is just above my butt. I've never had a girl reject me because I'm not fashionable. Maybe dirty when I was younger (project rat in a former life) but never unfashionable. So yeah, I high recommend hygiene!

Create self-fulfilling prophecies. Always assume the positive. Assume she likes you. Assume she wants to talk to you. Assume she wants to go out with you. When you think positive, positive things happen.

i just say regarding clothes to make sure they are not baggy or too tight. I own polos, regular dress shirts, short sleeve buttoned shirts, hoodies, cardigans, sweaters jeans, slacks, khakis, gym shoes, dress shoes. Just own basic stuff and make sure they fit well

that's no problem with that. all i am saying is that there is different ways to skin a cat. Calling a guy who cares about his wardobe gay or a faggot, and dismissing anything anyone says about fashion as... gay... is no worse than some dude on the street calling guys who get on the internet to talk about women a dork. I mean really who the fvck has to get online to learn about women?

that always be a part of me. part of backbreaker is being well put together, meticulously dressed at all times. that's just me. but that might not be you. that's cool. but neither way is better or worse than the other. I'm quite sure you and many other guys get laid while not gicving 2 ****s about what you are wearing. i 'm not going to say i can't, but that's just how i tick. if i'm not dressed to the 9 it gets to me mentally and my game is off.
