Not a JFK fan at all. Seriously, he and his brother came up with the bright idea of putting a bunch of disgruntled Cuban ex-pats on boats, giving them some guns and a crash-course military boot camp, and then sent them off to "invade" Cuba and depose of Fidel Castro. Of course they were all decimated because Castro had something called an army; US military support wasn't present because it wasn't "supposed" to look like a US operation...but somehow hundreds of boats coming from Miami doesn't look suspicious at all. JFK was a great public speaker and had a hot wife, but wasn't the best leader. If he wasn't assassinated, he probably would have just ended up as a minor footnote in US political history instead of a big figure.
