Being a DJ is a state of mind, an attitude, a way of life.

At school I am a Junior, I observed that when people sit for class they are all talking in their little cliques. So if u were to even say hi to one girl the whole group would be starin at you. Feel me?

I feel that the best places and time to approach the ladies is at: break, lunch, passing periods, after school, before school. I dont think in class is very usefull.

I also think approaching them when they are alone is better than a group of girls you dont know from a brick in the wall.

This is one TRICK I personally use every day: Its called the "Smooth Player 056 Technique" It goes like this: you first see a friend or aqaintence walking with a cute girl (preferably a lady friend) as you are pass ing you say hi to your lady friend. She says Hi. You say. WOW your soooo rude, you dont even introduce me to your friend here. (Say it in a exagerated ****y tone) She will laugh and introduce you. While talking to the girl she introduced you to you can use this line: "Ive seen you around and i wanted to meet you because I noticed something different about you" She will want to know what it was you noticed and tell her you have to go but u want her to approach u next time she sees you and THEN you will tell her....... Later wehn she approaches u can bust her for trying to pick u up.

If anybody has anything to contribute please do!

Wow this is the ultimate highschool thread? It isn't all that great. If this is the ultimate, I am surprised.

Yeah on topic, when in school I try to stay after school for atleast an hour, just socializing, and such. Don't have anything better to do. So what if you approach a group of girls and they are staring at you? It would be rude for them not to.

You shouldn't be swayed just because they stare.

-Socialize. Talk to everybody (goths, skaters, hip hop heads, prep, cheerleaders...etc). Don't hesitate to introduce yourself. School clubs clubs are a great way to meet people.

-Learn from your mistakes. If you fail a major test or broke up with your GF, don't cry about it. You pick yourself up, learn from it, and try again.

-Don't get in a serious relationship in High School. Especially when you are an upper classmen.

-Focus in getting good grades. It's never too early to set goals in life. You're here for an education.

-High School should be one of the best years of your life. Have fun.

Since I have few 'normal' classes(I'm on an adjusted program, okay), the only time I have really have to chat it up with girls, is during lunch, during gym or in the hallway between classes. Therefore, I join alot of clubs after school, this year I'm planning on joining the Speech and Debate Team, Unity and Diversity and the Environmental Club; since there are alot of HBs in those clubs, I should have no problem meeting woman this year.

I just realized how I haven't taken advantage of approaching groups walking in the halls. It is so simple really, see a friend, say "how are you doing _____?" then introduce yourself to the hot friend.

I usually try and find a girl when she isn't in a huge group, but I don't mind groups.

How bigs your school?

I go to a school with about 2,000 kids. There were people in my grade I didn't even know. Even by the end of the year, (and every single day) I would see people I've never seen before.

I don't know if it's good / bad as i've never been to a smaller school. My school is less cliqueish and theres barely any gossip. I'd think being in a smaller school could help, but also hold you back in ways.

I bet people at a small school know that wrestling is actually a sport =p. It's like, my school, people don't even know we have a wrestling program let alone people who wrestle.

Same deal here, except we generally fill 140 weight class and above easily. Mostly because we got all the freshmen football players (they have to try wrestling). And then we usually end up keeping a few each year. 103-130 is tough to fill for us.

And yes, football is the king at our school. Luckily for us, jocks and cheerleaders are DEFINENTLY not at the top of the social ladder.

I wrestle 145. Wrestling is somewhat noticed at my school. Alot of the hot kickline girls come to spectate/ help out at the matches.
