I give myself an 80% chance of passing, but I'm still more nervous than a ball of string at a cat convention. Haylp!

Good luck mate, just imagine the examiner is your driving instructor, and try to give him as pleasant a journey as possible.

hell, I failed my motorcycle written test last year, and that is in the states where an average monkey can pass. You'll pass next time, no worries.

I have some advise.

If asked to back into a side street backwards, if you see one of them square telephone boxes on the side, don't back over it dead center with your back tire causing all of the wires to pop out and flattening it like a pancake. They fail you when you do that.

Yes it was my first time. I made three serious errors of the kind you are not allowed to make any of (but no dangerous ones). The first was the easy-peasy emergency stop, which I have done plenty of times perfectly. Today however my foot clipped the accelerator at the same time as the break, so it didn't slow down quickly enough. Bah.

The other two mistakes involved being in the wrong lane, one time when a two lane turned into a one lane and I didn't signal. The other was just after my parking test, and I was so pleased I reverse parallel parked perfectly I forgot to keep left when I moved off.

Of the minor errors, of which you are allowed 15, I only got 7. I think I could've passed, and drove pretty well, but it wasn't to be. I even wore my lucky pants, but to no avail.

I failed my first driving test here in the states, just had a brainfart momentarily. which is really bad to confess... If you see how some people drive over here, its obvious a trained chimp can easily get a driver license. At least the chimp won't be doing the speed limit in the fast lane :cuss:

Dont stress it, you'll pass next time.
