I talked to this girl I knew from back in grade school. Red head, not particularly good looking, but I talked to her a couple of times on myspace and briefly on MSN a few times, nothing serious.
Sometime this week we both had a spare after lunch, so out of idle boredom I went over and sat with her, she was working on her accounting stuff. She didn't seem particularly interested but since I couldn't see any better targets, I made idle chatter with her when she wasn't actively working on her accounting.
So anyways, as I continued to do my own work (correspondance) I (barely) talked to a few females sitting beside us, but ultimately ended up continuing to work across from this girl.
Anyhow, she was having trouble with her accouting and near the end of the period I was able to help her balance out her work sheet. Just out of fun/boredom I got her number out of it (she seemed reluctant to give it out, not a good sign, but I never intended to call it, just practise).
So this was Wednesdayish, and I get an email today (Friday night) with this in it.
"Look when you first got in touch with me, I figured okay fine I will be nice to you. Because really I am NOT a *****. Then you some how mis-interpreted my niceness as me liking you, and you REJECTED me. You rejected me, and I didn’t want anything in the first place. And don’t think my giving you my number meant anything, because the truth is I just can’t say no to people, so you got the number. But don’t call it. So listen just don’t talk to me, don’t email me, don’t call me, don’t try to get in touch with me on myspace. Just leave me alone."
???
I never gave this girl any serious thought and she's flippin' out. Obviously she's unattracted, but still, this is a little extreme. Plus I've only talked to her like once in person.
I haven't tried to talk to her since she gave out her number, and frankly, I had forgotten all about it.
My reply was something along the lines of "Ohhhhh...kay? ... Umm... good luck with that.
-Tom".
Anyways, just thought this might be interesting for some. Any criticism welcome, etc etc.
