UGH! Didn't get the number!

Sometimes when you are a DJ, not just act like one, but when you have become one, girls you never thought you could get come at you.

The very girl I had a crush on was in one of my classes today and passed me a note:

HER: Hey buddy! How is ya?

ME: How is ya? HAHA Im great what are you doing over u.e.a. break?

HER: Dont make fun of me! Im not really doin anything! Boring I know! What about you?

ME: Im going camping w/ a bunch of people friday night, but I dont know besides that. It will be fun though. Who do you usually hang out w/ on weekends?

HER: Stoner drop-outs! haha seriously but we should party k!

ME: Im not a stoner drop out though...

HER: Actually Im trying to stop hanging out w/ them cuz I'm not a bad kid! You can be my good influence. lol

ME: Well I'm not THAT good lauren, dont worry.

HER: Well we can pretend! My parents dont know that. And Im pretty confident that you are better then the kids I have been w/!

ME: Oh really? Ok, well I kinda like you but you might be too much of a bad girl for me to handle!

HER: Wow, Im surprised that you like me at all! But I'll admit that I've been crushing on you! No worries I'm not that bad of a girl. I actually thought you liked Kinsey!

One question, why would she be surprised that I liked her? She is gorgeous! Or is she just trying to act humble.

Anyway I'm pissed at myself I didnt get her digits because we have a 5 day break and I would like to see her. Should I ask around and get her number or wait for school on Tuesday?
Or should I wait for her to make contact with me (usually works for me).

For real. And I'll think about her. I try to act very calm, almost unimpressed, when I get oppurtunities like this (when deep down I want to f*kk them right then and there). Because I've done the whole "one and done" thing w/ girls, getting some and not talking again, and that's not what I want anymore.

I don't know, man. You've destroyed the mystery, you've revealed your feelings and she now knows that you like her. I don't know what you should do, but the response she gave sounds like a good one. But, I have a bad feeling that this may backfire somewhere, not sure though.

Go finish the 'job' and get those digits.

first of all, never say you "kinda" like someone. you either like them or you don't, so don't complicate it. AFC

second of all, never say you like someone at all! What happend to having game? The mystery is dead. Without mystery girls tend to get bored pretty quick

I made the same mistake. I picked up my cajones to ask out a girl during FROSH week and things went so well (and I was AFC-happy) that I forgot to ask for her number and contact 'info.

We all make mistakes. It's whether we fix them down the line that matters most.

You're right, and I actually am pretty good at mixing things up on girls. I didn't write her back after that, and after class I walked w/ Kinsey to my next class, right in front of her. But what I was thinking was that saying 'I kinda like you but you might be too much of a bad girl for me to handle' would get her to try to comply herself to my standards. Get her to try and prove herself to me, not the other way around, do you know what I mean?

good idea in theory.. but it just sounds to much like flirting. you say you like her, but she might be too much of a bad girl sounds like your just flirting. if you want her to change to your standards, you have to leave no doubt in her mind that her changing her ways would change things.

for example, if you had said "I MIGHT have liked you if you weren't such a bad girl" said with the sly grin of a don juan would have a) left her wondering if your serious or not and b) doesn't leave your statement open to misinterpretation. if she wants you she has to change her ways.

of course i have no idea why you wouldn't WANT a bad girl, but there you have it.

OMG YES! That's way better, I will definitely use that one in the future haha.

As far as not wanting a bad girl, I have bad girls there for me whenever I want, literally. But booty call doesn't make a good post, and girls like this are generally a harder, better, more confidence inspiring hookup.

No, repeating yourself like that would show you are 'scared' of 'bad' girls, and you repeating you 'kinda like' her would just get annoying, you're talkin to her no ?
