U call her for the first time and... (a Unique problem)

Umm, So i got this chick's number and called her today but she didn't pick up nor returned my call.

Also, consider the following
She didn't know who called her because I didn't give her my cellphone number yet

and I didn't leave a message on her answering machine telling who it was who called


SOOOO, should I or would it be ok to:

A. call her the same day again until she picks up
b. call her tomorrow and hope she picks up again
c. call her and if she doesn't pick up, let her know that it was me who called
d. leave her text message letting her know it was me

anyone been in this situation? let me know how you would handle this

Listen more to them guys... Many girls won't pick up their phone if its NO ID or some foreign phone number.

So, leave a freaking a message.

Usually, I'll drop a message, call me back, and I'm off to do whatever else. No big deal.

I called once, and her mother told me that i had the wrong number. I then went to my friend's gf(her friend) and asked her what her # was, and it was the same number.

i called again in 5 minutes and she picked up

Alot of ppl won't pick up the phone if they don't know recognize the number or name, me included.

All I ever do is call without blocking ID, and leave a very brief message ("Hi, this is {my first name}, call me at {best # to call me} when you get a chance"). Or if there's something I want to invite them to join in, I might mention that. The interested ones always call back.

but really.

call once... call again the same day a few hours later or the next day and if no answer, leave a message saying who it is, and your number. cut to the point.

and how the hell is this a unique problem?

its as typical as it gets... you get a chicks number... and obviously she wont know your number unless you tell it to her thru voicemail... or if she answers, or if she gets it some other time.
