two girls...and they are friends...

ok guys, im really big into the YMCA, not the gym but the nationwide high school organization...i went to one of their youth-in-govenrment conferences this past week and as always...hooked up with a girl (dancing, talking, heavy kino and whatnot), so later while we are dancing, another one of her friends walks up and starts dancing with me as well (both girls are 9's, the second possibly a 10). anyway, i seem to feel a bit of a connection with both, though the first is more of a friendly connection and the second more of a dating connection...

well, tonight i was online but i was reading so i had all messengers set as away and on aol my away message was:
"two girls at once, a blessing and a curse"
alyson (the second girl) saw it and left a message that seemed a bit disgusted though weve been having great convo and everything...

the question is, how should i go about this delicately, both like me but i dont want to hurt either of them...i know this may scream AFC to some of you, but ive been in this situation before and handled it poorly, i was wondering if anyone knows a good way to handle it...thanx

Well you have got yourself into quite a situation here...

let me say this is one reason why i do not like AIM.

YOU NEVER KNOW WHO IS ON THE OTHER END

i remember a couple years back i talked about some sexual related topics to a friend(i thought she was that) and it got passed along.

not just that but it was direct quotes of what i had said. Since that point i dont like to talk to too many people or espically prospects online.

right now is not the time to "go after" either girl becuase they have you on the defensive for being arrogant (i say both b/c chances are they both saw the away message)

there was a fine line between being confident and being a ****y SOB and i think you crossed it.

the fact of the matter is that its hard for me to give you detailed advise on a situation where there arent much details.

id say that your best option is just to play it off like it never happened and just keep progressing with both girls.

do you 3 go to school together?

how often do you see each other?

from now on your away message shall be "i am away from the computer right now(because i am hitting myself over the head"

well, only one saw it and she was cnfused...im going to explain what i meant by the message when i talk to her tonight because it was just a minor misuderstanding...she e-mailed me this morning before i went to school and told me this...so that is taken care of...we live approximately one and a half hours away from each other which would make it a ldr...which are crazy but i am up near where she lives 2-3 times a month anyway so we would have no trouble in seeing each other and doing things on weekends, plus, this summer i am moving about 20 minutes away from where she lives so it will all turn out fine id say...

plus the message wasnt even about being ****y or confident...its about me doing something that could easily get me into trouble and hitting myself in the head about it...

The best way is to learn from experience, if this was a new life experience i would tell you to do whatever you want but just realise what you did wrong. However, you metioned that you have been in a similair situation before this, how did you handle it last time and what could you have done better?
