Since most television is crap from a men's point of view, what are some good shows for men? Something that gets your testosterone pumping.

I think something like,
sopranos
law and order
ESPN
Porn
the man show
porn
deadwood
etc

I like scrubs. It's pretty fun and so cynical it actually hit home with many off it's points. If you want your testosterone pumping watch stuff like cost off redemption, pumping iron and blood and guts.

Tell that to all the tv show, and movie show producers, and directers, who make, and tailor shows to adults, adult males, adult females, teen males, teen females, and so on and so on.

I really don't watch any tv shows these days, cus basically it's ALL reality tv.....and as much as i hate to admit this the only thing i really watch on tv (when i watch it that is) is the celebrity gossip stuff and mtv/vh1 shock value shows ie. punk'd, i love....., nick+jessica,made......i know i'm a complete f@ggot.

If there's a family guy rerun i'm always down for that though.

If you have ever lived without a tv for more than a month, you will quickly realize that 98% of the stuff is pure garbage.

Why the hell do i want a watch a show on mtv about two girls who are rich and dont know what the hell to do with their money?

Why would i watch a show about Osbornes..they are all retarded.

Why would i watch "Road rule vs ANYTHING" challanges.. they are bogus just like survivor. I used to like Real World, but then it went all queer (literally) and you get a medal for crying the most on that show.. I quickly realized that having fun on my own is actually more exciting than watching some idiots do it in London.

How do people sell these shows in the first place is beyond me... is there a 16 year old teenage girl inside everyone nowdays?

The shows that are worth watching if you got the time:

ESPN (sports)
Family Guy
Simpsons (old old old, but still entertaining)
24 (few can fit in this category..law and order.. CSI)
VERY few MTV-VH1 shows like "pimp my ride (stupid but entertaining) or "Best week/year"

That is basically it...

When I an reaaaallllyy bored and nothing is on:

C-span
C-span 2

lmao..

I also like those shows on Food Network and occasionally on VH-1 that have people trying to lose weight. It reminds me of where I was and who I used to be. I'm motivated after seeing how they changed and how I changed and how much more I can do for myself. yup

I agree that the crime shows are a major crock of crap. It's the same tired old stuff over and over. A murder... Clues left - saliva, hair, jizz and whatnot... The plot thickens as the culprit attempts to hide, but still leaves subtle clues, on which the 'experts' always pick up... The killer, as well as the motives for the crime, are revealed during the last 15 minutes of the show....

MXC (Most extreme elimination challenge) on SpikeTV is mindless and perverted enough to crack me up at times, but other than that, there's not much else. Xfiles was good, but they took it off the air. Simpsons?

If you like a show, then it will get your testosterone pumping regardless. Just watch what you enjoy.

Why in the name of all that is holy and good do otherwise intelligent people submit to the idiot box?

This phrase came into my mind four weeks ago and I haven't looked at a t.v. screen since. Not for a single, solitary second.

However strong or singular you may consider your mind to be, television will gradually wear down your resistance and gain a foothold of influence.
