Lately I have been adding random people on facebook or using that "mutual friends" thing. Anyway, I recently added this girl that I am very attracted to and we seem to have some of the same interests-music,psychology, dogs, etc. I added so many people the last few weeks that I don't even pay attention anymore to when my requests get accepted but the other day I get a message from her saying, "Hello, where have we met?" I looked at her profile and read a few things. Made a comment on one of them in response to her message and I pretty much just made up that I thoguht maybe I had met her at one of my bands shows. SHe replied with, "WHyyyy thank you!" In response to me saying something about her profile.
Yesterday I wrote her again about a band I noticed on her page and asked if she went to the concert last summer. She had not responded.
I noticed that she seems to be almost best friends with this one girl I am freinds with on Facebook and met in person about a year and a half ago when I was at a bookstore. A girl that I approached and hit on...this girl in the store asked me to give her my name so she could add me on facebook and I did. This was back when I was trying to work things out with my ex. She had text me a few times to come hang out at various bars but I was never able to make it.
So today I decide to mention to the girl I just added on facebook that the bookstore girl is a mutual friend of ours.
She writes back and say's, hey! i did not go to sublime last summer...but a summer or 2 before that, i did! how do you know ***i? we are good buds and have we met? i did not see your band play @ cali****....i don't think... i haven't been there for a WHILE
So, I can tell mentioning that we have "mutual friends" helped but the truth is I only met her friend one time at a bookstore and yes she definitely was into me because she asked for MY name and then randomly gave me her number on facebook while talking on IM. So the fact that her good bud definitely had an interest in me might help my chances..but...
How can I answer this and hopefully get her to say more so we can maybe hang out?
