On my whey protein bottle it says that i should drink the protein immediately after a workout. But the thing is that i workout at a gym and I live about half an hour from the gym. I also have school and i go to the gym right after school.

The best thing for me is to mix the protein in the morning before school and l
leave it in a bottle all day and go to the gym after school and drink it after my work out.

The thing is i read online that mixing the powder and drinking it hours later will be ineffective to you because it will break down and separate therefore nullifying its benefits.

What should i do?

Is this really that big of an issue? Bring the protein with you, bring a shaker bottle with water, and mix them right before you drink...

Put your proteins in your shake and close it.
Bring with you a small bottle of water.
Open the shaker and drop the water inside, shake and drink.

Or if you have money buy a smart shaker, it has various compartment which allow you to keep the water in the bottom and store powders and pills in the top.

What I do is to bring a shaker with the powder and a 1l bottle from which I drink during the workout, once done I drop the remaining water in the shaker for my post workout drink.

wow dude no offense, but did you seriously have to ask how to solve this problem? For your own good, try to use your problem solving skills so you can rely on yourself in case no one is around to help.

Also hemp protein > whey protein

I've heard up guys mixing together 3 servings of protein shakes and bringing it with them and havent had a problem... I dont really see why it wouldnt work after so much time has passed but, I guess I'm not a scientist.

Personally I bring a cooler everywhere I go so I always have something with me.

At this point you probably have a woman (or multiple women) chasing you around, calling you all the time, wanting to be with you. So let's talk about how to KEEP a woman interested in you once you have her. This is BIG! There is nothing worse than getting dumped by a woman that you really, really like.

Post workout protein is one of the most over-analyzed, over-hyped aspects of nutrition. Just get your overall nutrition in place and don't obsess over getting a shake in right after you train. The only people who are completely convinced you have to are those pushing supplements.

I would definitely focus on post work out nutrition.

After workouts the body tends to go in starvation mode, combined with cortisol levels if you dont eat a postworkout meal or at least protein shake you will lose muscle mass guaranteed.

I would suggest either buying your protein in a product that comes in packets. OR pour your protein powder into a well sealed plastic baggie.

If you use water, and only use protein your body will use the protein but it will need carbs and a little fat (not too much fat after working out. Increase to normal fat intake in your meal about 2 hours later)
Ingesting fat after your workout tends to slow down digestion, while satisfying, you will increase the time it takes for the body to digest the protein, break it down into amino acids and get it into your bloodstream and into your muscles.

Your post workout shake should be primarily Protein. Preferably the fast digesting Whey Protein Isolate. They say the Hydrolized kind is best for post workout. Supplement that with some BCAAs. And if at all possible some sort of simple carb.

If you buy a Vanilla flavor powder you can use fruit juice, or water, or milk.
You may want to get some Gatorade powder and mix it in your Vanilla protein powder with plenty of cold water and drink it immediately after working out.

In order to help you fight off the cortisol, and catabolic post workout effects, where your immune system even drops, try to consume plenty of Protein and a good amount of simple Carbohydrates after your workout. And to help make all this easier try to find some kind of all inclusive Post workout powder and drink some BEFORE your workout.
This will definitely help.
Any Pre workout supplement you take must include Creatine and BCAAs at the very least. So take some before (Im not talking about supps like a NOXplode and such. Im talking about uncaffeinated type nutrition drinks)

Some good supplements for pre and postworkout are
Cytosport Fast Twitch
and my favorite pre during and post is Betancourt BullRush RECELERATOR.

If you use milk obviously dont leave it stored some place unrefrigerated.

Remember protein and carbs post workout.

Protein, carbs, and fats in your regular meal approx 2 hours later.

Good luck.
