I'm on a limited budget so i can't go to gym as often as i would like.
I can only manage to afford to go 2 the gym 2 days a week, so would 2 hours or longer workouts been fine or are they simply to much?

I'm not sure the logic behind it is really appropriate with weight training, in the same way a single mega 6 hour workout a week wouldn't do a whole lot of good for you. Consider investing in some cheap home equipment like a pull up bar or a cheap set of dumbells.

They don't have gym subscriptions by you? Most places offer monthly, yearly subscriptions and then you can use the gym as much as you like.

Yes, you can do a two day split. That would be fine. I wouldn't trade a gym for a couple dumbbells and pullup bar. You won't get as good results with that. There are other options though, but I'd just do the gym

Two days are fine. They are actually better for some, and most people can progress on them.

Make sure to do free weights at the gym if you didn't know that already. Squats/deadlifts/bench/rows/chinups etc...

I was going to link to a two day on IA's but I can't get onto the site. Maybe later...

Wow, i sent this post 2 years ago, how times change

Thanks for the advice everyone anyways.
Nowadays if i can't train at gym i just train at home.

Although i have to say, it can be very challenging to train at home without some of the gym machines
