its good to see one of the Shively Hall Sunday night movie rental classics from my days at ohio university on your list. Most everyone leans towards "recent movies" since that is what is more at the top of their mind. This was a lesser known good one from the 80's.

What was the name of the film with the worm things that turned everyone into sex crazed zombies? Shivers? I was like ten when I saw that movie on my uncles old VCR when he was away one weekend.

Looks like I'm going to go against the grain here, but these are the ones that scared me the most and the ones I think are the best. Unfortunately, I don't have 10.

1. The Ring
2. Blair Witch Project
3. Insidious
4. The Grudge
5. Jeepers Creepers
6. Dawn of the Dead
7. Nightmare on Elm Street

Horror movies are just the best. I love the fact there's just such a wide variety across the board. I love having netflix so I can browse for new stuff ask the time. I just saw "Sinister" with one of my girlfriends, and it was fantastic. I also really liked Grave Encounters, I think that's the best "found footage" film I've seen recently. I'm not going to rank films but I've seen almost every film mentioned in this thread and have enjoyed most on one level our another.
