Wow you're blind, I gave him the opportunity to leave the situation and he basically said wtf am I gunna do right in front of my girl c'mon man! And I know about the injuries because I know the bouncer who saw the medic do an "assessment"
Of all the reasons to get into a fight, girls is the worst. I'd never get into a fight over a girl and anybody that does gets none of my respect.

...And guys like morepoonplease are the exact reason there is violence in nightlife game. I know guys who go out on the weekend specifically to fight. They're about the same size as morepoon.

I suppose they're used to intimidating people and usually come out on top when things get physical so they naturally gravitate toward it. When you're good at something you tend to want to do it.

I don't think the guy was an idiot for trying to take your girlfriend's number. I mean, she kinda offered it to him.

Actually, you seem like the bad guy in this situation.

Also, how did you know about all of this guy's injuries? Did you follow him to the hospital and sit down for a chat with the nurse?

You see what I mean, theres some crazy guys like this guy out here waiting to assault people and bragging about being a former bouncer.

If someone hit me like that during the day time I would call the cops on them.

I have never trained mma a day in my life, nor boxing... i am 6' 4'' 273lbs and the last guy who called me out to a fight said i was finished as soon as i stepped outside of the bar and that he was a fvcking cage fighter. I knocked him out in less than a second, broken orbital & nose, so i guess lifting weights helps a little seeing as thats what i train in.

Yeah im sure you did. You destroyed a cage fighter.

Hell, I'm 31 years old, man. I'm not trying to impress a room of strangers in a club with how "tough" I am. If some dude, unprovoked, hits me I'm gonna have his arse locked up, and if possible, sue him.

Let the 6'4" 260lb bouncers have their fist fights. I'll take their livelihood.

(All due respect, you're 21 and I'm 31. Ten years ago, I was thinking the same thing, but these days I'm more worried about paying my bills than protecting my 'street cred')

Anyway, I don't mean a situation where some dude is instigating me and we both agree to "take it outside" or whatever.

I mean a situation like what MorePoonPlease described where the other guy very obviously said he's not looking for a fight, and got punched anyway.

Although, I don't believe that MorePoon is actually serious about this account. Probably just trolling. Because, who in reality would admit to something like that?

I also used to be a bouncer and most guys who get suckered are truly asking for it.

Well I been sucker punched once actually. Some dudes mistaked me and my friend for 2 other guys. After I took a punch to the eye, I said "hey WTF!!", and they left us alone.

About 2 weeks later a guy took my beer, I decided to just leave it as is instead of making a scene. I went to the bar to order another. Then I felt something like a headbutt on the back of my head. I turn around and see the guy who took my beer. He then punched me in the face again. At which point I punched him back. Everyone at the bar suddenly moved over because I punched that guy. The doorman was there and everyone pointed at me, so they kicked me out. The doorman was cool though.

Since then I started doing all-round self defense and Jiu Jitsu and haven't got in a fight since.

I was actually willing to fight a group of 4 or 5 guys recently just for the hell of it. I was hitting on his girl and then they all started hating on me and I stood my ground. I was ready to fight just to test my skills lol, it was pretty fun making all 5 of those guys scared.

That was a while back though. I don't think I'd want to do that again, especially since I haven't trained in months :D.

Jiu jitsu wont help against 5 guys, its for 1 on 1

I've been going out for years. At least 2x a week for nightgame for the last 2 years, and I know a lot of guys who do the same thing. But never have I gotten into a physical confrontation, nor have most of the guys I know. The only ones who have, they desrved it for not controlling themselves, but never have i heard of someone getting sucker punched in a bar.
This, I live in quite a rough town and go out twice a week and i've found you only find aggro if you go looking for it or you're just an idiot.

Sure, why not?
These "alpha" guys I'm talking about don't really have much of a livelihood though. They have low paying jobs, got married young, and are paying child support. They don't have that much to lose. "Alphas" don't always make good decisions.

You might say they're not alpha, but they are in a sense. They're similar to the cavemen guys who fought their way to the top. Someone posted an article recently that said that in such tribes, all the betas would end up ganging up on and killing the alpha.

The other thing is these guys don't hang out in high end clubs with bouncers, they just go to the local dive bar.

This reminds me of the other thread about stealing other guys' girlfriends. There seems to be some tradition in the pickup community that encourages you to take some other guy's girl. Now you may just be referring to hitting on some other guy's target.

It seems like hitting on somebody's girl is asking for trouble. But pickup gurus don't seem to see any problem with hitting on a guy's girlfriend, even if he's standing right next to her. There's a story in The Game where Mystery hits on this girl, even though the guy has a gun, I think he even pulled it on him, I can't remember. But he just plows through and shows him a magic trick or something lol.

You're a ****ING idiot for sucker punching a guy who only asked your gf for her number. you seem to be actually proud of yourself like its an achievement or something. tell me did you beat up your gf too for voluntary giving out her number? you claim to be a bouncer yet you were afraid to challenge the guy to a fair fight. Even when he told you he wasn't looking for a fight you still went ahead and hit him. its obvious you're overcompensating for something. Bullying weak guys is fun isn't it? ****ING douchebags like you are the reason OP is thinking of giving up night game. you should be grateful the guy you b!tch punched wasn't rolling with a posse. you pull the wack **** on me and i assure a broken nose and lose of consciousness will be the least of your problems

You are a disgrace to the Martial arts...

As being a jiu jitsu practioner I hope you remain a white belt....no class whatso ever

and another thing jiu jitsu wont help you if you are fighting against 4 to 5 guys at once. You try to apply an armbar, Kimura, ankle pick, americana or wristlock you will get your face smashed in...

Point being , if you have some damn self control and keep your wits about you there would be no problems no matter where you go. You ****ers trying to go out and act all hard you'll end up in a body bag.....

This thread sickens me....stop the violence and find the love

I don't go to clubs often, but when I do go, I never end up in fist fights. I have seen other men go hammer and tongs at each other, usually over a woman. To me it's just pathetic behaviour from two people who cannot handle their alcohol consumption. It's even worse when I see women fighting each other, it's like listening to cats fighting or foxes fighting amongst themselves. Horrific behaviour from thugs. Quite why a man feels the need to prove himself to a room full of complete strangers is beyond my level of comprehension. If people want to fight why not take up Boxing or Mixed Martial Arts? Leave clubs and bars for people who just want to chill and have a good time.

i am happily married now but in my early 20's i used to live in someone's club 2 or 3 nights a week. never been in any type of fight or any real confontation.

this forum with these over exaggerated views of reality. most dudes in the club have a normal 9 to 5, want to have a few drinks and look at ass. i can't tell you how many times i'd go by myself and end up hanging out with a random group of guys

i've had guys dance with my GF and when i come along and tell them they were my GF they would go out of their way to apologize and say they didn't know and i would say it's cool and that's that. i would dance with guys girls and they would say that's my girl and i would say my bad didnt' know man and they would say that's cool and we woiuld go our seperate ways.

the only people who get in fight are not thugs, thugs don't even fight in clubs they are smarter than that. you have to be a complete douche to get in a fight in a club everyone knows the rules ot the game before you walk in the door. but mr i fight in the club guy takes too much offense you are talking to this girl, etc.

**** my everyday life is 10x more dangerous than a club. in the last 10 years i've been

1. knocked out cold by a woman throwing a glass vase at my head when i told her i didn't want to see her anymore
2. robbed and beaten outside a jazz night club trying to get in my car
3. sucker punched by my old oneitie's douche bag BF who ran up behind me when he saw her and i at a sonic having a friendly ho harm lunch. just ran up behind me and sucker punched me and it was on lol. i b aet the breaks off that midget lol

No matter how tough and strong you think you are, there is always someone tougher and stronger than you are. It's worth remembering that before starting a fight with someone, because one day you might meet a person like that.

I never really got into a real fight at a bar/club, a few douches here and there but that's it. Guys who get drunk and want to fight have CLEAR homosexual tendencies. I go out to get physical with women, not men. Sure I have my angry moments. But any dude who goes out looking for a fight hopefully ends up with a tag on their toe by the end of the night, I don't feel bad for any dude who gets drunk and just wants to fight who ends up dead at the end of the night. If someones a fighting drunk, and knows it, but still drinks anyway, chances are they're a piece of **** sober anyway.
