Too late?

I posted about a week ago about that girl who lives on my street who just says "hi" to me occasionally. We dont know each other well at all and we've actually never siad anything to each other other than "hi". well now im worried that she thinks im an idiot and not worth trying to be friends with. just curious as to how i can fix that. thanks.

Talk to her. You can't attract her of you don't talk to her.

I know i have to but i dont know what to say to this particular girl. i dont see her all day but waiting for the bus in the after noon and walking home.

Somebody recently suggested in another thread to offer her some gum. If she says yes, give it to her and continue talking. If she says no, playfully make fun of her for not liking gum or something like that. Continue with something like how was your day and go from there. I know it sounds lame, but she will probably have somethng interesting to say about her day.
