What a damn shame. I wish I had read this thread earlier. Back home in LA I used to listen to Frosty, Heidi, and Frank and Tom Leykis all the time.

I'm sure he'll be back on the radio sometime in the future or involved in some project. Does anyone know if they'll make the last shows available for download somewhere?

Just another casuality of the economy I'm guessing.

He'll be back on another station eventually I'm sure.

Maybe he'll get a deal on Sirius like Stern which would kind of suck as I wouldn't want to pay to listen to what I previously got for free but if thats the only way to get The Tom Leykis show in the future I'll do it.

He's a talented broadcaster, no way he's done. I was just shocked to hear it.

Are all women,regardless of how attractive you think they are,that f'd up? I'd say about 95% of them are THAT fvcked up. It's fvcked up times for us guys. I think we'd all like a good marry-able woman, it just seems like they are on the endangered species list. The only hope we have, (aside from woman shopping in other countries) is to get really good at picking up women, so we can weed through hundreds of them, to find an actual good one.

The bummer part is, that when we wake up and realize this, we turn jaded and bitter, and it only hurts our chances even more, and we end up attracting even more bad women, because we have an 'all women are bad' mindset.

Its as if our only chance to find a woman worthy to be in a relationship with, is to to be a player, who doesn't want relationships.

It's not like a few decades ago, when women had a lot more loyalty, and honor.

Hmm,hence my dillemma. I am not a player. Say what you will,that's just not me. I do believe in fidelity,loyalty,honor,etc. Although, I haven't always held myself to those standards, ideally,that's what I want in a partner or wife.

So,what makes a player then? I have felt that I am unable to attract women. I just don't seem to be one of those guys with chicks stacked up begging for my pole. This could be due to looks,attitude,or lack of effort. I feel I face the painful reality of not pro-creating. But the way it seems,women don't want that,or,they want to slut around,then settle down with,well,a clueless chump right? Maybe that's it. I need to find women from another country.

I just found this out when I noticed his downloadable shows stopped at a certain date. Went to Wikiipedia and it said his last day was the day before!!!

I hope they keep those old shows up and perhaps he will get a new gig where I can hear him live.

Its called freedom plus irresponsibility. Also, known as the American way. Chicks are free to do as they please here, and dont have to take responsibility for their actions. It's that simple. Back in the old days, women didn't really have the freedom to do they shyt they do now. Now they are as free to act as slutty as they please, and when they enter relationships, they still act like their single. Why do they do this? Because in America (and its catching on in other countries too) we constantly push the limits of acceptibility (its called complacency), and constantly take things farther and farther, which is all great for us; in a selfish way. One of the consequences of this, is women have been crossing more and more lines as well (and Im not saying men dont do it too, but that's not the issue) including the faithfulness, and loyalty, and 'decency' in general, and we pay the price by having low class women in our lives, because we have all crossed too many lines.

In other words, nothing is sacred any more.

Question to his listeners, wasn't he syndicated all over the country, or was he only in LA the past few years?

If he's syndicated, wouldn't some stations keep him on the air? Was he only on CBS affiliates?

He was syndicated in quite a few cities, but based in Los Angeles. The station was 97.1 The FM Talk Station (then renamed to Free FM), which switched to a top 40 format, so all of the talk shows it once put out have been dropped.
