I wanted to pm you, but this message is just a little too long:

here it is anyways

Hey,

I just wanted to thank you for giving an extremely thoughtful as well as "thought provoking post"..I really enjoyed it, and I think I am slowly learning more and more to just "let go" and really take things as they come.

Its very strange, because your reply to my post mirrored almost exactly a post "Mr. Fingers" wrote , concerning freedom, how to achieve it and the rewards it provides. It seriously makes you question everything that has been put forth to detract us from going after what we TRULY want. Freedom is just another word for "nothing left to lose" and I think that is something that is become more and more engrained in me as I learn more about myself.

Anyways, I just wanted to leave u with a little passage:

"I understand now that women don’t want a perfect DonJuan who follows a secret code of conduct. If he is hot, then maybe she will screw him for a while but eventually boredom will set in and she’ll leave him for a real man. Someone with more dimensions to his character... A Renaissance Man who has embraced his infinite nature and takes her on unpredictable adventures through her emotions. He is fierce and stoic, but his strength is tempered by a tenderness that only she can see. Outgoing yet shy. Confident and yet humble. Tough but also vulnerable…

Ahh the thrill of the human paradox!

Now I truly understand the wisdom behind the phrase “Be Yourself” People whine all the time about how this is bad advice because they were being themselves all along and it got them nowhere. What they fail to see is that they were being anything but themselves! They were just playing a one-dimensional role created by others. Living in a world of absolutes and inhibitions, the multi-faceted splendor of their true selves was left to rot in a self-imposed prison.

Think about it! All of your life you have been fed ideas of what you should believe and the roles you should fulfill in society. For years priests, professors and so-called experts have all told you to sit down and shut up while they yap on and on, claiming that their way is best. What they didn’t see was that this is only half-true. Indeed, their way was best, FOR THEM.

The truth is out there, but there are infinite paths to reach it. No one can spoon-feed you all the answers you seek. This is YOUR path and only you can determine which fork in the road you will choose. Living in fear and shame is what robs you of this choice, for you take the path of analyzation, inactivity and doubt. The Dark Side! (How long have you been sitting there?)

Only when you plow ahead fearlessly and ACT, will you experience a personal revolution! It doesn’t matter what you do. As long as you try SOMETHING, you will learn from it and be free."

Seems like in life, the only way to go is to go all the way, all the while trusting yourself to make those key choices when they arise.

Let me know what you think when you get the chance.

Josh

So so so so so so so so so so so so so so so TRUE!! Seriously anybody who has been in a good LTR or has even observed a good LTR, they will realise this. Especially this part.............

"his strength is tempered by a tenderness that only she can see. Outgoing yet shy. Confident and yet humble. Tough but also vulnerable…"

That is possibly the best peice of advice I have ever heard on these boards.

Glad you figured some things out, you've been on this board for a long time now.

Well I'm here to tell you there is such a magic wand. Something that will make you almost completely irresistible to any woman you "point it" at. Something guaranteed to fill your life with love, romance, and excitement.

yeah very true logic, most people on these boards have NO idea when it comes to woman, they are just trying to sort out their game, seem to think they have to be the cool, tough suave dude all the time, no wonder they can never get a girl they like to TRULY love them!

Thanks for the link champ, I will read it later, its too damn long, haha!

You're really working through this stuff, Jb---nice quotes in there as evidence. I was surprised that I couldn't address the original post for first few times I tried--the Q must've gotten me thinking.

The main thing that should be highlighted is that you will go back to almost square one when you give over the techniques and try to do it from inside---for me, it was often back to AFC-hood. You're forced to do the work from way back there.

But you can't completely forget what you've learned--it will inform you. And it gives you more to work with as you try to reach for something more. Instead of being hopelessly confused and frustrated, you will have a good idea what's going on, and that makes all the difference---you have a chance to make a choice.

Glad it helped--I didn't know how it would be received.
