To chase or not to chase...

hey guys,

started chatting to my ex again after her bf left overseas, she appeared to be keen to get back together with me. we talked and met occasionaly, ended up kissing last time we got together. next day she texts saying she doesnt think we should have kissed and just to remain friends. we keep texting, yet she still gives off signals (ending each text with "xoxo", talking about us in the future). we are both travelling to america together in june. im keen to be in a relationship with her and she appears to want the same thing. i seem to be the one calling her all the time and trying to make a date to meet. she wasnt available last week so i told her to just text me this week when she was available to get together. should i follow this up or just wait to see if she calls to know if she really is interested in me?
