Doing Well

Wow been A little bit since I have seen this thread. Since you guys have been nice enough to give me some good advice I will give you a quick update. I started a journal and have been writing more ever since I started this thread. I have not had as much time to read due to finals, but have been picking it up lately. Currently I am reading On Writing by Stephen King. I just want to thank you guys for the help and support. I will continue to work on my writing.

By the way can anyone recommend some good books to read? The books can be anything fiction, non fiction, etc... As long as they are good recommend them.

iqqi I don't really have a favorite book or genre of books. I pretty much read anything and everything, but recently I have been reading a lot of fantasy and science fiction books. Just suggest away if you suggest something on here I will probably read it in within a week or so. I just love to read. Since I don't really have any favorites just suggest some of your favorites.

Gubby I will check that book out and let you know what I think.

Well I recently read the Golden Compass and its sequel, because I like to read the book before I see the movie.

The books were great, I JUST watched the movie, and it SUCKED. Only because it strayed so far from the book, which would have made for an epic movie if they had done it right.

Science fiction, fantasy, good characters, religion... read this series, its pretty good!

If you currently have too many women chasing you, calling you, harassing you, knocking on your door at 2 o'clock in the morning... then I have the simple solution for you.

Just read my free ebook 22 Rules for Massive Success With Women and do the opposite of what I recommend.

This will quickly drive all women away from you.

And you will be able to relax and to live your life in peace and quiet.

You mean that book by Philip Pullman?

I'm asking because it goes by two names according to my vague recollection: that and "Northern lights"

Will check the books out iqqi. On another note don't you hate it when movies don't do the books justice. It seems to happen often. Although I can't think of any examples at the moment.

Anyone a fan of Terry Brooks?

Iqqi sometimes I even stay away from movies based on books I like because I'm afraid it will ruin it for me. The thing is you probably might have enjoyed the movie if you hadn't read the book, but the reading the book wouldn't be the same.
