Anyone have any tips on how to smile 'on the spot'? I'm usually a friendly guy, I laugh at a lot of stuff so I am smiling often, but when I find a situation where I'm supposed to smile I just can't do it, it seems forced.
Today at the computer terminal this hot chick was checkin me out a couple of times, so I definitely figured something was up. Next time she looked at me I decided I was gonna flash her a smile. She looked at me again...I sort of tried to force a smile but I just couldn't do it....it didn't seem natural at all. I seem to only smile when I laugh (which is often) or when I am REALLY happy. And altho I kind of got 'the rush' at this situation and I was a little excited, I just couldn't force a smile.
And ya I could've just talk to her...but I would rather smile and gauge her reaction cuz I don't have the guts to just openly start a conversation in a situation like that.
