this is only for those who are 100% self employed and handle thier own responsibilities aka not living at home, room mates ect

this lyfestyle can be very very thrilling almost drug like effects

i want input on guys who are in the position i described above

i can wake up go to gym, then go downtown to get lunch, stop at the store and with women being everywhere i can have fun all day and workload gets piled up

im figuring the fact that i started this thread im already getting ready to focus and not approach or game every single woman i see

not here. in the real world.
I run a business and you must be making better profits than me. For myself, it seems like I always have tons of work to do--and countless iterations that could make my business better--but time is always the bottleneck, and my motivation ebbs and flows because this is definitely NOT my passion. I am seriously considering taking an ENTIRELY NEW direction in life.

I think it's easy to get distracted--like right now I'm supposed to be working and somehow I'm at SoSuave.net...have you ever heard of a comic called, "The Oatmeal"?

Here's a link to a funny take on the PROS and CONS of working at home:
http://theoatmeal.com/comics/working_home

My incentive for self-emplyoment has been the scenario you are describing--but I've probably never sturggled more than making this business--sales for me is the absolute worst....

I digress...

But yeah man we hve to concentrate to get **** done. I lke to make lists and once I get everything on that list done I'm allowed to 'play'....outline 3-5 things, peck em off...THEN go flirt the ladies up.

Word.

What's your line of business?

entrepenure, found my niche around 25 years old, mastered it by 29-30

yep i also put together a micro routine to finish tasking as soon as possible so i can go flirt, socialize

Albiet when the bills are due or the buisness needs its maintanace im in full blown work mode for as long as it takes until theres balance

latley ive gone about a week straight just as described above, waking up and just " touring" the city without a care in the world, felt amazing

i may start taking the last week of everyone off completly, im comfortable with what i have right now

and being in a 5 year relationship wich added to my " confinement" a week off working and just interacting with people feels great

im guilty of being a homebody while i was in relationship

so a week off here and there im willing to sacrafice " time in"

one of my favorites is going to a coffee shop order a small coffee then drive across town and hit another coffee shop and if i have something going on in another city ill hit those shops too

the icing on the cake is that im talking to people everywhere i go, not having a work load programed in my head for that day really free's up your social/witty side

It's probably impossible not to be a home body when you're trying to build a business--I don't know any way to do that "part-time", it seems like it totally can absorb you (at least in the beginning). It has absorbed me.

Sounds like you have a nice niche carved for yourself man--massive congratulations on that, that takes balls and effort and a lot of commitment. We shouldn't be burned out or weighed down by work...this world shouldn't be an ecomony based on minimum-wage slavery...I think its cool you've found a way to free yourself from the reigns...
