Yes, it went pretty well the first couple of months after we invaded. Kinda like after we occupied Iraq, "Mission Accomplished", remember? As far as the Afagan situation is concerned, we are getting our a$ses handed there too.

The job wasn't and hasn't been finished. Things there are in dire straits also. Just because the big topic continues to be Iraq, doesn't mean that we should overlook the disaster that is Afganistan.

That is what is to be expected when you go into a "business" without a plan. Imagine walking into a bank and asking to borrow money, without a sound business plan. You and I would not be given a blank check from the lenders, the way our administration has been given. That is all I will say about this, since this forum is censored on this type of talk.

What does the word "executed" have to do with the war? The OP jumped to conclusions and convicted the soldiers before we even have all the facts. Hardly "spin". And if this war was meaningless, there would be riots in the streets and most likely a WWIII.

Ok, obviously you subscribe to the "Let's fight em there, so we don't have to fight 'em here" philosophy. Guy, there is a CIVIL WAR going on in Iraq and the neighboring countries? Have you not been notified? We invaded a foreign nation. There are riots, and bombings, and killings, and exectutions in Iraq. The civilians there would agree, they are living in not so good times.
