Someone made the maths at the Roissy page, that turns out to be some 15,000 dollars an hour...

Look at this part, too. It seems pretty harsh:
Tiger Woods is banned from letting girlfriends near his kids in a divorce deal netting his ex a record $750 million settlement, The Sun reported Wednesday.

The golfer agreed to keep single women away from daughter Sam, three, and son Charlie, one.

He can bring a new flame into their lives only if he marries her.
This makes no sense. Let's say he finds a girl he might want to marry. How is he supposed to make that decision if she isn't allowed around his kids? Wouldn't he presumably want to know how she gets along with his children before they get engaged or such? Of course she has no restrictions on bringing future boyfriends around her kids.

And it IS amazing the kind of money she's walking away with, when she did virtually nothing to earn it.

THIS IS WHY IF YOU ARE MEGA RICH, YOUR A$$ STAYS SINGLE!!! There is no way this woman deserves that kind of loot!!! Period, even if her head was cut off SHE does not deserve this!!!

I do not think I would ever get married again with blood suckers out there. Sure, dumb a$$ Tiger was out there running around with every hoe he could find, but to pay that. WOW, wow, WOW!!!

When I divorced several years ago I was fortunate and my ex wife came from money, so she did not need what little I had. This 750mil is criminal!!!!

It is my understanding too... that prenuptial agreements even have loop holes and can be beaten in court. I have no idea because a prenup in itself is kind of like a lack of trust issue from the start depending on how you view it.

You are correct. In the US, the judge has the discretionary power to throw out the pre-nup if he deems it *unfair.*

So as to the reliability and power of pre-nups - I will let you pass judgment

I have always found it interesting that celebrities who are very rich, are not very "Alpha" at all.

Do any of you think that any of the super wealthy on Forbes richest americans would allow a woman to take 1/2 of their net worth?

Some part of me thinks paying $750 mil is cool in the long term for Tiger. I don't mean it like she deserves it because unless she was cooking and taking care of the kids so he could, she doesn't. But I have this feeling that his ex was a ballbuster. She chased him out his out place, told him to stop playing golf eventhough it put food on the table, put a stipulation in the divorce that he can't have women around the kids, and he seemed to buy the women he slept with instead of seduce them. If he can write a check and be done with her, why not?

Strange, a more recent story has him paying her "only" $100 million. In fact, he's not worth $750 million.

TMZ reports: "There have been reports Elin would score $750 million, but we have confirmed that figure is wrong. Indeed, as we first reported, Tiger is not even worth $750 million. We're told his net worth is somewhere between $500 and $600 million."

A prenup is NOT a lack of trust issue and shouldn't be viewed as one. A prenup is a mature financial arrangement you make in the case that a marriage goes south, you are not left bankrupt as a result. A prenup is mature financial planning.

I do not feel sorry for Tiger Woods. There's absolutely no way in hell "SOMEBODY" around this guy whether it be an Accountant, close Attorney, etc., didn't tell this guy about prenups.

Prenups have some loopholes but not major ones, a prenup is still a prenup, and the loopholes are not ones that a professional Attorney could not cover up. Tiger has a ton of money that could have been invested in a great Attorney for the prenup, however, it all depends on if the guy is willing to put one in place at the beginning. Tiger obviously wasn't willing, which is poor financial planning.

Sometimes I just don't understand people. Hell there's 15 million unemployed Americans that could have easily received that money from Tiger in a donation of some sorts to the country. But no, instead due to a lack of planning, this guy is giving it up to a woman that literally contributed NOTHING to the earnings of it but saying "I will marry you."

Just plain dumb.

"... In return, former wife Elin Nordegren ,30, gets the biggest payout ever seen in a celebrity divorce.

But she can never publicly speak out over his alleged flings with socialite Rachel Uchitel, reality star Jaimee Grubbs, porn queen Joslyn James and up to 17 others.

A pal said: "Elin is desperate to protect the children from the womanizing side of their father.

Tiger's alleged mistresses include porn stars, pancake waitresses, bikini models and nightclub hostesses. And they're still coming! Porn star Devon James is the latest to admit to a Tiger tryst.

"Tiger's main fear is her telling her story after he's rebuilt his reputation, sending him back to the gutter."

Swedish ex model Nordegren ended up with double the sum she originally sought, after her lawyers proved Woods, 34, was worth much more than the $1billion she thought.

Her friend explained: "Elin's legal team have done a great job digging up all sorts of assets.

"The price of the huge sum is her silence: no interviews, tell-all books, or TV appearances about this for the rest of her life -- even if Tiger dies first -- or she'll lose the lot."

Woods -- believed to be building a golf resort in Dubai and investing in the Bahamas -- will be able to see the kids for up to half of each week."

This money is to buy her silence - he has secrets beyond the women that he does not want made public. Also, it is possible that the pre-nup could have stated that fidelity (his actually keeping his marriage vows - What a concept!) was part of the requirements for it to be enforced.

This is why, if you're a celebrity, you NEVER marry a woman who didn't know you before you got famous. If I was famous, I'd just never get married, or if I did, I guess I wouldn't go having orgies with strippers n sh1t. Wink wink Tiger.

She was actually going to get much less as per the pre-nup agreement, but I guess managed to extort more money out of him by threatening to spread his dirty little secrets.

Honestly though, I think he might as well have just let her come out with it. He wants to restore his reputation? Just start winning again. If he returns to his winning ways, this whole episode will quickly become a distant memory and everyone will move on to the next big scandal.

I agree. Short of felonious activity or homosexuality in his past, I can't see what could possibly be more damaging than what's already been exposed. All he has to do is follow the Kobe Bryant example and excel at his occupation. Memories are short when you win.
