Those of you who wear glasses - do any of you look *better* with them, than without?

I used to normally wear contacts, but I think I look better with glasses. I bought a pretty cool pair a few weeks ago (not in the slightest bit nerdy) which just suit my features very well, I've gotten a lot of compliments about them. I'm pretty sure I look worse with just the contact lenses.

So, do any of you have thoughts on this? Do girls instantly think "beta provider" when they see a guy with glasses?

the real question is...
"are you going to stop wearing these new glasses, even if they think your a beta provider from your glasses?"

Show them with your actions just exactly who you are.

Beta provider?
Since when is beta provider associated with glasses? Just because Clark Kent wore glasses and Superman didn't, it doesn't mean that there's a label associated with glasses.

I wear glasses, and I usually get the:

- Sophisticated and intelligent with glasses
.vs.
- Mean looking and intimidating without glasses

Either way, it doesn't matter, I'm the same person with or without glasses and that's what women get to know. There is no Clark Kent and Superman for me, I'm Superman all the way, all the time.

If you keep a mindset of "With glasses I'm a dork", then that's what you shall be and what other people will think of you. Personally, I like having my glasses on more than I like having them off. For some reason, people seem to take me a little more seriously when I have them on.

Now if only I could remember to stop taking off my glasses and leaving them on top of the bed... I'd be golden.

QFT!

For real though, if you think you look like a geek who finished from Georgia Tech, women will perceive the same sh*t!

Color contacts can be great. I put on some hazel ones (ran me 20 bucks BTW) and I got a lot of comments on them, even had a couple girls want to hook up! I looked like a totally different person. I walked around like I was a male model with the prettiest eyes. It worked cuz I had contacts on.

I recently starting wearing glasses and contacts for the first time, and I've gotten some pretty good compliments from females. I only wear them when I'm too lazy to deal with my contacts.

BTW, Dont be surprised if a girl nexts you when she finds out you're wearing color contacts. I saw a dating show on TV a long time ago, where three girls all liked this guy cuz he had pretty eyes. When he told them they were non prescription contacts they got turned off. They found it very unmanly to color your eyes.

I had laser operation on both eyes, and I think things went better for me. However, that was not the reason I had laser eye surgery. My vision was so poor it wasn't funny.

It does sound pretty feminine.

I wear glasses and I love them; got many compliments and attention because of them. Girls like to come up to me in clubs and bars and either tell me I have cool glasses or even come up to me, take them off and try them on. My vision isn’t too bad and I can see ok without them, but since I got my new ones I wear them all the time.

Funny thing is that my Ex got me the glasses and I get a lot of female attention due to them...got to love the irony.

These are the ones I wear:
