This woman I met off myspace. Calls me out of the blue. I ask her who this is? I told her to send me a photo and I would call her back.

I saw her photos. She is cute. She saw mine and wrote me this email.


"Hi Josh, saw your profile and I would like to meet for a drink, dancing, bowling, darts, whatever.

call me so we can make arrangements."

So i called her to make arrangements.

Then she tells me she is going out of town for a few days on business and cant make it on saturday, maybe next week. Im like what the fvck? I sent her an email.

"Hmm. You know, I was sitting here, with the phone in my hand, listening to you speak, and I realize I still don't understand what's going on. And I also realize I can accept hearing the full and complete truth from you. So, why don't you tell me again what's going on?"

Then she sends me this email...

"I guess maybe you and I aren't on the same page. Are you looking to date someone and get to know them...see if there is any chemistry...OR, are you just looking for sex? If just sex, then i'm not a good fit for what you're looking for...

please elaborate on what you're looking for. Maybe I didn't look at your profile right...Seeking???????"

I think you're reading into this too much. You tried to set up a date for Saturday (try week days instead - when people are more likely to be available). Then she said Saturday was no good. You could have tried to co-ordinate your schedules.

Then you sent her an email saying you don't understand. What the hell isn't there to understand? SATURDAY IS NO GOOD.

That is pure chump talk, no wonder she is giving you the runaround. The DJ always understands what is going on (whether you really do or not) If she can't go out that Saturday, thats all you need to know. You will never know what is really going on with a women, so don't try reading too much into it.

Your first mistake is meeting on myspace as mentioned. Your second mistake is sounding deperate.

If she tells you she is busy, then get her number and say you'll call next week when shes back from her trip and maybe you can get together then. Don't press for a date or time if the first one gets shot down, just keep the lines of communication open and talk with her later.

You're in mach drive and you need to slow down to cruising speed.

Don't say or imply "now (or never)" Its all about the spinning plates, she might not be the fastest plate, but if you get her interested, keep her in your portfolio and don't scare her away by the 'now or never' or the 'right now or never'

Other people are busy, and sometimes they really do have other obligations and can't go out right away. Don't act like its your last week on earth, you could be ruining your chances when she gets back from her trip.

Being too eager is a turn off, turn it down a notch, wish her a good trip and tell her you'd like to hear from her when she gets back. Don't turn it into a high pressure situation.

I'm just a little freaked out because she called me out of the blue and asked me out. without knowing who I was???? Then she sees my photos and says "lets get together and go bowling drinking or anything." I have no idea what this girl looks liek until she sends me photos after the fact.
She then says "Call me and lets make arrangements".....then when i call her she flakes on me!...i dont care what her excuses are. I dont like people who act like that. I would never send an email like that to someone unless I had a date in mind. So i basically punked her made her look like she was spineless.
