Marx77 - hang in there man! Sooner or later you'll realize what a great catch you are, and your mindset will change from there.

Everyone else - thanks for your advice. I've realized that what's more helpful to me is to spend my time figuring out ways to make more money. Simply dwelling on my past or insecurities has done nothing, and will do nothing for me. In the end, it's really just about what you prioritize. There are so many things out there you can prioritize and you can't have everything. `
