I have used this website for a long time. I've learned a lot, and owe a great deal to it for my current place, not just in terms of social success, but also professional and physical success. That being said, I have found myself browsing this forum and posting only to placate insecurities that arise out of inane details of my current circumstances.

For this reason, I'm logging out and taking a break from this site. I think that I'll be able to manage my emotional instabilities and brief periods of lagging social validation in stride, having built up a decent sense of self and self esteem over the past decade of life. These should sustain me for a while.

Thank you all for your guidance and input over the past several months, and I'm sure that I'll be back in a while. In the mean time, I'm going to start relying solely on self-guidance that I've developed as a result of this site.

Best Regards,
DR

Good luck dude.

This is something that is good for all of us to do.

Too often I come on here and see posts from guys who would be better learning from harsh experience.

Experience is the best teacher you have, and over analysis will do your game more harm than good.

Personally, I come on here mostly (at the moment) to post in my broken arm recovery journal and offer advice. I almost never ask for advice, since I know that it's best learnt in person.

I'm not a master DJ by any means but improving bit by bit every day. And that is all any of us can do.

Focus on improving day by day, and not become dependent on advice from others, but find our own way.

Both of you are very well spoken!!

It a good feeling to know there are a cluster of gentleman out here!

The inner game is extremely important, when you lose site of that it's def time to change course.

I believe that there are some people who come here looking for a solution, and either just won't find it here, or need to dig deeper than others. Some have deep-rooted problems that really need fixing. I used to be that way years before coming here, but experience and cruel honesty fixed that.

By the time I came here, I had already read some stuff, like David DeAngelo so I got the gist of the whole "don't kiss up to a woman" deal. What I didn't get was portraying confidence.

Funny thing, I didn't have to dig very far. I didn't even need the bible, really. Sure, I've read it, but the thing that made everything come together for me, really, was the Book of Pook. Some come here for years and gradually change, but for me, all it took was reading, assessing, and applying the knowledge given by Pook for me to see intense results.

Good luck, don't ever lose sight, brah.

If it's a crutch for you, then it is a good idea to take a break.

For me, I came to learn and improve myself. When I got to where I wanted, I come back to this site to refresh my knowledge reading different threads. Also, I try to give back when I can. That's the only way to show my gratitude to this site.

At this point you probably have a woman (or multiple women) chasing you around, calling you all the time, wanting to be with you. So let's talk about how to KEEP a woman interested in you once you have her. This is BIG! There is nothing worse than getting dumped by a woman that you really, really like.

For me, the best way to leverage this site is to hang out for a while, participate in conversations, and then leave for a time to concentrate fully on putting the principles into practice. After an appropriate period I then come back for a re-up, and the cycle continues. This way I'm receiving the benefit of the site without becoming lost in the virtual world.

I just started to come back and give advice after having an almost year hiatus from the website.

It is good to leave the web site and then come back and give advice from the real world

Agreed,

This website should be a supplement to your game. Most of the advice here is common sense. From time to time you need to come back and brush up on this common sense.

When you need to announce to a forum that you're leaving, you know its probably a good thing to take a break.

But yeah. Sometimes our blinded judgement of ourselves makes us believe we're relevant and need to announce our departure.

But I see the hyprocrisy in my words - that's my ticket, virgins.
