Just because a girl gives you her number, let's you shower her in attention, etc. doesn't mean she's interested in fvcking you.

I've seen similar vids where guys just confidently walk up to tons of girls and get tons of numbers. I know it works, i'm not hating, i'm just saying that it's only the first step and can very easily lead to absolutely nowhere.

Girls get attracted to all manner of things not talked about in the community. The reason this works is that it gets their emotions engaged. It also appeals to their urge to nurture and "fix" males. They always talk about them wanting to fix the bad boy but that crosses over to other things as well.

The main thing is that if you are looking for a strategy, this is not the best one to adopt. Sure, you can get results, but you can get results with just about anything as long as you have the guts to approach. From this to the apocalypse opener, you can get results with anything.

The idea behind PUA theory isn't that it will work every time, or that it is the only thing that works, but to do what works a good percentage of the time.

The dude may well be shy, but that's not what attracted her. She liked his look and was essentially negged by being approached (a compliment) and him disappearing (a soft insult).

Try it sometime. Approach, say hi I'm xyz, then disappear. If she doesn't chase you, re-approach a while later.

Shy especially works when it is conjunction with something completely different like seeming tough or bold.

A perfect example is the young Elvis Presley. On one hand here is this guy with greasy hair and gold suits and swiveling hips who represented pure sex. But in interviews and when he would talk on stage he came across as a well-mannered shy guy who called everybody sir and loved his mama.

Women ate it up. It humanized the superstar and became cute precisely because it was such a contrast to his other image. I highly recommend doing this in your own game. Play aloof in one on one interactions at first but be the life of the party elsewhere. Or vice versa. Ride motorcycles but volunteer with children. Anything you can do to show multiple positive sides of your personality keeps them guessing and, more importantly, keeps them interested.
