That is soo tight! Imagine traveling and seeing the world's coolest landmarks, and then jumping off of them. For example the world's largest waterfall, Angel Falls in Venezuela..... http://www.skydivecenter.com/staff/click/Angel1.mpg

or the world's tallest buildings.... http://www.guzer.com/videos/base_jumping_video2.php

or just get bored one day and jump off whatever the hell you want! http://wickedmoon.com/e/sendcard.php?image=wickedmoon.com/media/video/extreme_videos/base_jumping.wmv

This is seriously what I want to pursue in my spare time. I turned 18 a month ago and started to skydive. I've only been twice and both times were tandem, but my jump next week will be my first single. I am trying to get over 150 skydive jumps under my belt because that is the recommended amount before starting to base jump. I am just wondering if any other guys on here have done this sort of thing, and if so i would like to hear your experiences. Thanks!

Thats is awsome, i was thinking of trying sky diving out this summer, it was like a lil over 200 bucks at a place near me.

Im not to sure about base jumping, id prolly do it though if given the opportunity.

edit: this guy look like the same guy from a television show about a crazy guy who did stuff like this.

He became partners with one of the best base jumpers in the business who died at the end of the show after he fell on to a bridge cable, he was using those kind of glider things(with the webs that go between you arms and torso)

What is the average price for a skydive? I'm interested in getting into it.
Where I'm from, it costs 180 for the 1st jump, 160 for the second, 220 for the third (first single jump), and 160 for the next 2 jumps after that. Once you have completed those then you are certified. Then the price once you are certified is only 20 bucks a jump!

That is so sweet. I'm for sure doing that one of these days! From what I've heard, the best place to start base jumping is in West Virginia on Bridge Day which is held every October. The bridge that you jump off is actually printed on the West Virginia state quarter! Hopefully I'll be ready to go next year in October..

This is a good post. Not necessarily because of the subject, but also to see DJs with ambition and passion. These things are a couple of the cornerstones that builds a DJs foundation.
