My dream bike is the North American Warhorse custom V-rod

http://www.nawarhorse.com/articles.html

Click the 2nd articl (Oct '03), it's the sweetest street fighter I've ever seen. It's a harley with aprilia suspension and other parts. A truely awesome machine.

Have you watched the movie "Final Fantasy Advent Children" which is based on the FFV 7 game series? Cloud, the hero, rides a bike similar to this one I think. This movie kicks some serious a.ss. It´s all made by computer. :cheer:

Maybe I'm just drunk, but the only similarity I see is that they both have black parts. Other than that, I'm missing whatever you're seeing.

And if you'd clicked my first link, you would have seen another Cloud bike...

I am sure it´s different. Maybe this bike is from the game, but in the movie It´s different. ;)

No that's not the same bike at all, I mean other then the fact that both bikes are V-rods. Click on the second article on the North American Warhorse site I linked in my previous post. The bike has aprilia parts and suspension, double stacked head lights and no front ferring at all. There are other detials that makes the bikes vastly different. Check the specs sheet in the article, the bike I linked is nothing short of amazing.

No, my first link is the bike from the game, this link is a toy of the bike from the movie. It's called Fenrir, after the wolf from Norse legend.

It's the same bike. I own the movie and no the bike from Advent Children (fenrir) looks nothing like the v rod's posted above. I should note that it would be impossible to hold onto that bike at the speeds they feature in the film but there were very few parts of the movie that were plauseable to begin with.

your friend needs to reassess his good points

a bike is extremely fuel efficient, yes compared to a V8 , a small korean car will use the same or less than that GSXR

then tyres , a rear tyre will last maybe 4000 miles , a front maybe double that and these arent cheap

the you have expense of chain and sprockets , servicing

then on top of that you have your rider training and all your protective equipment , consider how hard it is to wipe your arse with your hands in bandages

check your insurance cost

want cheap transport then you are buying a small bike which is cheap on fuel , easy/cheap to service and uses cheap tyres

want a decent sportsbike then you are spending $$$
