Think I got tossed into OkCupid's "ugly" pile

A couple of weeks ago I started using "QuickMatch" on the OKC phone app. It's like Tinder in that you swipe left or right on people if you're interested or not. I blew through everyone in my area after a few days of this, just like what happens with Tinder.

Anyway, I've noticed over the last few days that the women it shows me on the homepage have suddenly gotten real ugly. I mean bad. All of 'em. Ugly or fat or a high proportion of ethnic girls. It's strikingly different than the pretty-ish blondes it used to show me.

As some people know, OKC started rating people on their attractiveness for matching purposes a few years ago...

I'm wondering if my recent large increase in "liking" the hotter women and having the majority of them fail to return the favor has dropped me from being considered at least somewhat attractive to being considered one ugly motherf*cker.

Why would you worry and be confused about what others online might have thought about your looks when you have several years of Grand Master DJ "game" to overcome all?

Perhaps those constant meth and viagra c@cktails as well as acid, shrooms and whatever other drugs you're doing are doing wonders for your photogenics.

I believe there's herpes and HIV+ online dating sites you can hit up to continue living on the edge.

It may just be the hot chicks aren't attracted to you for whatever reason or you weren't on the site long enough/ didn't stay on to do "daily maintenance" which starts boosting your view rate to get included with the "beautiful" people thereby "proof" for OK cupid not only in more active users but users stay on the site longer chasing the carrot of seeing hotter chicks the longer they stay.

I wouldn't be surprised if the sites themselves can play with/rig or will play with features so as to scam dudes into paying to see the better hotter chicks.

Okcupid I'd done a while back for two days. The site was the only site that was slow as hell and most every chick I saw seemed boring as sh1t and seemed loaded with liberal "open minded" "worldly" nitwits.


I think others have no issues with the site as far as it not being slow as hell and or the site isn't loaded with the libs galore that flock to that site I'd seen in my area.

Initially all the chicks I saw were beautiful then 2 days later, 90% were fat and ugly types. I could tell the difference between the 2 sets in terms of beauty. You always start on the beautiful list.

Did you honestly think there was an infinite supply of women on OKC in your area? There aren't.

Once you start to notice that your quick matches are coming from neighboring cities, you know you've hit the bottom of the barrel. All you can really do is not log on and wait for the site to let you know about new members who are matches.

so pretty much if i live in a mountain town population 600. my chances on OKC aren't good. unless there's a girl next door who's super hot wears daisy dukes and cowboy boots and just wants a man for his kind heart and tender nature.

oh wait... i'm coming out of fantasy land now. that probably will never happen.

When I went back to OKC, after a two year hiatus, I signed up on a wim to see what was out there. I threw up a few pictures, and wrote the minimum amount I could in each section, most of it detailing how awesome I was. If someone were to look at it without a sense of humor, they would have thought I was the most arrogant prick on the face of the planet. Needless to say, I believe I got a lot of 1 star votes, and when I went back on a few days later, my selection had gotten beaten by the ugly stick. Honest to God, my new line up had to have been the least attractive chicks on the sight. Eventually I got myself out of there. Took a little time with my profile, took the arrogance out (but left in the ****y) And then soon enough, my selection got better.

TL;DR For whatever reason OP, I think you've gotten some bad reviews. Or since you are Liking the hotter ones (why on God's green Earth are you doing that??) then possibly, instead of liking you back (they get notified) instead they're blocking and/or giving you 1 stars.

Yeah this is starting to happen too... like f*ckin' 75 miles away and sh*t. And it's "matching" me with chicks that have like a 30% match percentage now. Pretty lame.
