things that would + my % on getting # close?

do you guys think things can help "up" the chances of getting # closes?

like for example, a rolex, kind of shoes or even the mobile phone you are going to "whip" out as you ask her for her #?

i'm getting a 830$ new mobile phone on september; and i think i'll be able to be more confident on askin girls they're # on cold/warm approaches. what do you guys think?

edit: oh, incase any of u are wondering what kind of phone im getting, it's a p900 sony ericsson. it's a gift from my telecommunications company and it arrives mid-september.

First of all its not hat expensive if you get it on Ebay but nice phone none the less.

Secondly, I could get #'s wearing a bib, a kilt and a stained shirt if I felt like it. Its all about your charisma and personality, just cause you have flashy whatever doesnt garuntee you jack **** other then gold diggers.

also, I only approach women who give me buying signals and notice me first. If a woman is single, under these conditions I can #close a ridiculously high percent of the time.

However, I find the real objective is having that first date. So it's important to create enough rapport and get her excited about the possiblity of us going out.

I'm reminded of the scene in "Boiler room" when Seth's boss says

"You need to get them excited about the the Senior broker calling them back and telling them about that one good Idea"

Somebody else has used this analogy on the site no doubt, but their name escapes me. But the point is that the # close is not the end-game, and that if you RUSH into it you sabotage your chances of the first date, which is what truly matters.

Other than you being a cool guy, the BEST thing to have which will UP your success rate of closes...is having a woman with you when you do it. The more attractive she is and the more she's affectionate with you will DRAMATICALLY up your "odds". The only thing better is having more than one woman on you.

you should be worrying about how you are going to carry yourself...how you are as a person....whether she will dig you for who you are.....and finally how you are going to make the approach..

Sorry, but would those stuff help with the approach success % even a bit? Also having stuff like this gives + to confidence too imo.

Be carefull . Yes, all those materialistic objects CAN give you confidence, but that would give you a superficial confidence, as it only relies on materials because eventually you will associate with these materials and if you were to lose or not have such objects with you, you will become inconfident.

The focus should be on HOW to up your % of close. Not WHAT.

the 'assume the sale' is the best technique I learned on this site regarding that.


As for what I have to say, don't even bother with focusing on upping your success rate of #close. Within less than a month or two you will realize how insignificant getting the number is. It's so easy and is not the best indicator of Interest Level.
