That's what I'm wondering. Does this really go on a lot? Is it really as common as it's made to seem that these hot housewives sleep with the delivery guy, UPS guy, plumber, pool boy, etc.? My guess would be no. How true is it?

I can say for sure that housewives and married women for sure have sex with the life guard at the pool or the tennis teacher when they go to vacation,especially in those vacation village.
Probably because he have very high social proof and since all the other women want them,the housewives want them too.
I read on the newspaper about 3 or 4 years ago about a very high diffusion of HIV in many middle aged family in a city,the reason was that all the wives went to the same vacation village and had sex with the same infected life guard,and then they gave the disease to their husbands once back,its common for husbands who are still working to send their wives and kids to vacation in summer alone...

That is close to the details in the actual event...

She was his live-in G/f and he was indeed a very wealthy guy ( heir to a national TV network) . She had a regular role in a local soap on the same network and was fond of hanging out alone at a seedy bar frequented by crims and showbiz types. It appears that she also liked to hire female strippers to "perform" privately for her for hours on end while she did cocaine.

The event to which you refer is just bizarre. She left the club after meeting some low life crim biker and was found a few days later by the cops in his apt in her undies, apparently after consuming some "illicit chemicals".
Her TV career is over. She was punted out of the house by her rich B/f and was the object of national ridicule .

Last heard of heading to LA to "further her career" !

I would be more inclined to think that in today's world it's far more common for a chick to hook up with a coworker or an ex b/f off facebook than "the delivery guy". That kind of thing goes back to the days when women were bored housewives. Today they are boinking the boss, coworkers, and guys from their past who they can find with a few mere keystrokes.

It may be sad, but it's definitely true.

I've been in more than one situation where I would have felt a lot better about a breakup (read- I wouldn't have turned into a blubbering idiot) had I done a little preemptive fooling around with other women. There's just something about a woman cheating on a man who has been 100% faithful that taps into the part of your monkey brain that makes you feel like a complete and total failure as a man.

Methinks this part of the brain might be short circuited by taking liberties of your own.
