Simple workout, but it kicked my ass....probably because I didn't waste any time and got it done in a timely fashion

Back Squat (full olympic squat)
warmups
a bunch x the bar
5 x 135 lbs
3 x 225 lbs
3 x 315 lbs
2 x 335 lbs

2 x 385 lbs
1 x 385 lbs

pause

2 x 225 lbs
2 x 135 lbs

Then to cap things off I rowed 1800 meters in 7:39.2

That rowing was way harder than the squats

5 x 225 lbs
5 x 275 lbs
3 x 315 lbs
5 x 275 lbs
5 x 225 lbs
10 x 135 lbs

Rack Pulls (did em lower this time...normally do em from an inch below the knee but this time they were about 1/4 way down my shins)
5 x 135 lbs
5 x 225 lbs
5 x 315 lbs
5 x 405 lbs
5 x 455 lbs

Rings
Muscle up from a box
5 ring dips
5 pullups
1 deep, long skin the cat

Today's workout wouldn't have been to hard if it wasn't all done in 40 minutes

What a great day..at work and in the gym. It can only be attributed to the half jar of saurkraut I ate for breakfast haha. Seriously though, saurkraut has some crazy good benefits

Bench Press
50-60 x the bar
10 x 135 lbs
5 x 225 lbs
5 x 255 lbs
5 x 275 lbs
4 x 295 lbs
3 x 315 lbs
1.5 x 335 lbs
7 pause reps of 225 lbs

Rack Pulls
30-40 x the bar
5 x 135 lbs
5 x 225 lbs
5 x 315 lbs
5 x 405 lbs
5 x 435 lbs
3 x 455 lbs
3 x 475 lbs
3 x 495 lbs
and here we go...in the time it took for this song to play, I did:
12 x 405 lbs
8 x 405 lbs
6 x 405 lbs
4 x 405 lbs

Rings
6 sets of 5 ring dips with various other ring moves peppered in

I realized that ring dips have nothing in common with traditional dips as far as tricep or even chest activation...it tears apart my shoulders, but in a good way. My abs even start to burn after awhile from holding my legs so stiff and forward, so I can stay stable

My Strength Program
Cycle 1, Week 1, Day 1

Back Squat
warmups
3 sets of 3, 320 lbs

Bench Press
warmups
3 sets of 3, 285 lbs

Deadlift
3 sets of 3, 400 lbs

Pullups
3 sets of 10, bodyweight, straight bar

Dips
3 sets of 10, bodyweight, parallel bars

T Bar Rows
10 x 3 plates
10 x 4 plates
10 x 4 plates

That's a lot harder than it looks. Squat and bench were easy, fun, and I felt I could generate a lot of power. Deadlifts started to get hard, and after pullups it was game over; it was a grind to get through...not nearly impossible though.

I suppose the only way to tell if it will work is to try it for a couple cycles.

Tell her a little about yourself, but not too much. Maintain some mystery. Give her something to think about and wonder about when she's at home.
