Yeah, there might be nuclear war in 100 years. Hell, it might occur in 30 years. So you've got 2 choices:

1) Worry about it until your life is miserable.

2) Enjoy your life while you've still got it, and die happy.

An asteroid is going to hit the earth within the next 100 years. Anyone close enough to actually see it coming, will be incenerated from the extreme heat. Those who survive impact will die during the fall out from the collision.

Oh no what ever shall I do?! I know! I'll go have sex today with some girl like normal and go on NOT GIVING A F*CK

In all of these discussions people have regarding nuclear weapons, have you ever stopped and wondered why nuclear weapons have never been used, beyond World War II? It's the foreknowledge that if you nuke a country, they (or someone sympathetic to their cause) will nuke you right back and probably into oblivion.

There is a country full of people with your apathetic attitude, that's the reason we're in this situation.

You act as if you are powerless, so you give all the power to people who exploit you to line their pockets. Get involved politically.

As a kid growing up in the 80's in the US, I worried about a Nuclear war between the US and USSR. They even had movies like the Day After and Red Dawn about war between the countries.

Now as an adult living in the 21st century, I worry about terrorists getting ahold of suitcase nukes and North Korea and Iran.

But I live my life, I earn money, I have a great time with my family and girlfriend and look for the positives in life.

If you watch too much TV and read US News and World Report and other major media outlets, you will worry.

I heard somewhere that they did a survey of news stories over a period of time and the news was more negative than positive in a 20:1 ratio.

The news will depress you. Turn off CNN and go out and build a life you love.

Whatever man:rolleyes:

Just because I don't share your point of view does not make me apathetic. Unlike you I don't believe in worrying about "the end" and again, despite what you think nuclear war is proboby the most unlikely thing to happen in terms of global conflict. There are so many factors that would have to be met specfically for there even to be a remote CHANCE of that happening.

And good job reading my entire post because there's a conciderably better chance that an asteroid will hit the earth before a nuclear struggle comes to a head and there's very little me "getting involved politcally" can do about that
