You're dead on with what you said about Audioslave.

It so happens that when I made the decision to transition from AFC to MAN, I was listening to the Audioslave album while staring off into a golden, late afternoon sunset. No joke, man.

"I am the Highway" is a great song and pretty much summarizes the DJ philosophy..

Another good anti-AFC song is
"What you Are"

"And when you wanted me, I came to you
And when you wanted someone else, I withdrew

And when you asked for light, I set myself on fire
And if I go far away, you know you'll find another slave

Now I'm free what what you want
Now I'm free from what you need
Now I'm free from what you are"

-Great song for getting over one-itus, moving on from a flaky girl, and learning to respect yourself more.

I reccomend Audioslave's album to everyone here.

A universe...where heartbreak and sadness have bee
...

It kinda ticks me off that a lot of the music I used to love when I was AFC...now the lyrics just kind of make me sick.

Doesn't mean you can't enjoy the tune. A lot of people make the mistake of thinking that to like a song, you have to believe in the lyrics. That's like saying you can't just have sex with a woman, you have to be in love with her. ;)

Society relies on rules and order, on putting everyone in their place and having them lead a scheduled, mandated life. Being male is directly contrary to that kind of world. When YOU control your destiny, not society, you become a threat to society. You are "the anomaly" whose very existence is a threat to the Matrix. ;)

A lot of people make the mistake of listening to FM radio too. I like to think of it how Chuck D puts it...FM- turn it around Mutha F^ckas.

There are no more heros in my world:(
Yes I have, and you have to think deeper then every song's vague words. Between the lines.

Magdelena is about lust, we all feel that way, we wouldnt really do that..but its a sexual feeling.

..oh and stinkfist isn't about another man, don't hate on Tool...they are 10x as talented as any band you could possibly like.

Shut out and burned by your lies.
Now it is time to make you learn.
You'll learn.
My heart bleeds no longer for your pathetic views.
My heart beats on stronger with my own resolution.
Bound down for so goddamn long.
I have seen so many follow you.
I fell fivtim to your clouded ways.
It is my intention to end your reign.
I know so many who would want to see your Burn.
I aim war at you.
I did not give into your hold.
I live again alone.
Pass through the sea of ashes kept.
My heart bleeds no longer for your love.

Unearth :)
