It's a great show.

One of the few that HBO actually ran long enough to complete its story arch. And ended early enough to still have its artistic credibility (instead of squeezing extra seasons out of it for the money, like they did with Sopranos).

The series actually ended because the creators felt they told Baltimore's story well enough to call it quits. Gotta respect that.

If you just started watching it, you better avoid this thread. Never know when someone's gonna drop a spoiler on you.

Incredible show. This, along with Oz, are two of my favorite shows of all time and (although I can't be sure) seemed to portray their premises very accurately. Every season is great in its own right, as each focuses on a different aspect of Baltimore and how it relates to crime/social climate. Five seasons was just enough to say all it needed to.

I don't think the sopranos ran long enough. I wanted to see the hot daughter grow up and become a lawyer and I wanted to see what AJ was going to do with his life. But I do agree that the whole NY/NJ mob going against each other had gotten kinda stale.

I have already powered through the first season, yesterday was my day off. Know what I am going to be doing for the next month.

I hate the fat white guy. Marlow is easily my fav character

That show is pretty gritty and pretty accurate as it goes. It serves as one more reason why I got as far away from Baltimore as I could when I hit 18.

Do not be too easy. If you are too easy to get, she will not want you. If you are too easy to keep, she will lose interest in you. If you are too easy to control, she will not respect you.

Usually HBo does great tv series, the problem is that sometime there's way too much drama like the sopranos anything the sister or the wife were involved for more than 2 minutes.

Oz is a masterpiece hard to find tv series good as that one probably cause the chracter are all bad boys involved in action (I'm sure they would pull tail outside the prison) and the plot is great.

You guys should take a look at generation kill and band of brothers,a torrent of great war scenes and storylines awaits you.

Anyway I do agree with Backbreaker, Marlow is one of my favourite character too as much as stringer bell, probably cause they are ambitious and ready to do what it takes.

I don't care for stringer too much. he's not stupid but he is not very loyal and he doesn't have that real ruthless streak from what I see. He's the definition of someone's CFO

Oz was amazing for the first 2.5 seasons; then it started going down.

The Wire is great throughout; really addictive show which pulls you in and doesn't let go. I finished the entire series in 3 weeks.

It was weird and kind of cool seeing the actor who plays Daniels on a early show, after seeing him in Lost and Fringe.
