the ultimate alpha male (and a ?)

this guy in my school is the ultra-plus alpha male. i mean, he's got lots of friends, he's excellent in every sport, and he's got a good grade average. he also is the ultra don juan, and every girl falls to his feet. he's not that beautiful to me (probably is face a 7, not more), but he's got a wonderful body.

note that this guy has lots of haters behind him, but they all are just AFCs and when they insult him, everybody knows that he's better than all of them.

i just read some replies to "gettin respect" thread and a guy said that if u have lots of friends, u r going to be disrespected. i see that this is true for everyone, besides this guy. is this just because of his alpha aure?! i can't really believe it...

another question: when somebody insults him in his face (i don't mean real insults, just sarcastic remarks about his gorilla-like appearance or his extremely open body language), he puts on a smile and starts talkin', and nobody notices... how can u learn to do this? when i don't reply to a remark, usually people keep doing remarks, until they're tired, or until i make a remark about them, makin them look like ****...

Maybe you should stop being mesmerized by this guy.

It sounds like you have an infatuation.

Develop your own game, and respect, you dont have to model after this guy. You dont have to be his twin...

For the Respect issue, just know in your heart and in your head, that they usually dont mean anything by insulting you, its just them trying to make themselves feel better. So just shrug it off, or blast them back....Everyone is unique, do what you feel more comfortable with.

All people are jealous, thats why people higher up on the social chain usually are insulted by the lesser people...because there jealous.

the reason he can just ignore these kinds of comments is based on his mentality, which translates into the way he acts. he knows he's better then those small time wienies, so he just doesn't care what they say

work on your own life, be open with people and have fun. thats the way to truly live a happy life like this guy obviously does

Shìt, I know a guy just like that as well - there seems to be one eveywhere. He isn't that good looking either, maybe a 6-7, but got a great body, plays every sport - especially wrestling; has lots of friends, and carries himself with great confidence - almost arrogance. The only thing is - he's short, but it doesn't hurt him a bit.

For some reason, though, his gf is a 5. He can have anyone - he is a big flirt, he's going out with a girl way below his supposed standards.

He has a few of haters too, but doens't care. Seems like every popular guy has people that just don't like them - often for no real reason. Jealousy, I guess.

I don't particuarly like him (yes, I am jealous), but I know once I am out of this high school, things will be better in uni. Reputation is a bìtch.
