The Top Mature Men issues

I think the top issues for mature men tend to be

1. Women with children
2. Post-Divorce issues (re-entering dating scene, drama)
3. Sordid past (alcoholism, substance, criminal record)
4. One's own children, especially sons.
5. Late Virgins (25+ virgins)
6. formerly impotence (pre-viagra)

I was thinking that maybe we should tailor some of the material we have for these specific situations. Does anyone else have a feel for what the major "mature" men's issues are?, and how we can address them for people on the site?

those are great topics . are you thinking of adding some definitions and abheviations or are you trying to gather matieral for new tips that need to be added ?

i think some new tips on these areas should be added to the hall of fame and bible.

Yes I would have to say that the late virgin problem is something I have. Also the late kissing problem, and touching problem, since I am 25 and haven't done those things either.

I am 31. Women close to my age are itching to get married. I don't want to get married any time soon. Maybe by the time I am 40. The way I look at it, its their problem....not mine.

My 'catch 22 situation' is that I'm a bachelor in the truest sense. Single, educated, good job, no dependents, no alimony and an excellent credit rating. I enjoy not having any obligations other than my own.

I'm lucky enough that I'm able to date women my age or 10 years my junior. The problem is that most women my age already have children and would love to have a stable, experienced "family man" in their lives. Been there, done that; nuff said. On the other hand, younger women typically want to have children and settle down and I'm in a place to be a springboard for all of that.

So my problem is finding a woman who is as selfish as I am who enjoys the hedonistic debauchery that NOT having a family allows you to have. So often people define themselves by their families and personally I feel that causes more turmoil than anything else.

Haha.....one chick I dated for a bit got the raw deal from having a kid. Lets just say she felt she had to warn me before I saw them myself. Yep, it was pretty scary.

I haven't experienced all of these so, it'd be useful if some of you would chip in on 2, 3, 4, 5 especially.

10. The assumptions many if not most women make if you're over 30 (or 40, or whatever) and have never been married.

11. "Resume" issues, i.e., not having the level of financial stability, the good job, the good house in the 'burbs, and whatever else more mature men are expected to have. This can sometimes be the result of #3 or #2, but could also be business-related (failed business, starting new business, etc.).

Even the ones that are put there 1st person are bad enough!
Chics who were once fat then lose the weight often have similar problems as ones who had love trophies. Whatever the reason, it's not sexy and causes problems in the bedroom for sure....... At least for me anyway....... And I have 2 kids... So I know where you're coming from........lol

I'd like for these to be a sticky. I don't know the full qualifications for something to be sticky-worthy. We have some of the issues addressed.

Why don't we (everyone reading) start posting links that match up with the numbered list on page 1, then the links can be collected in a stickied post.

1 and 5 are covered. I'm sure that some of the others are as well.
