Here is a story for all of us to learn from.

My first cousin was in a marriage for 20 years with 2 kids.

Long story short, the marriage was not going that well as with most marriages. Sex was non-existent after a while, the house he was living in was bought by his wife and she was paying the loan installment every month but my cousin was contributing to that loan basically paying the house as well. (Mistake 1)

After 20 years of marriage, she was cheating on him regualrly, he was suspicious of-course about this, but never trully got to the point of finding out until they decided to end their marriage.

Since i had many discussions with him before all this happened, she told him one day "I don't like sex" an i told him "she just does not like sex with you, get it in your head" Red flags started to appear all over the place and alarm bells going around in his head.

Eventually, she kicked him out from the house, he went to rent a place, and he found out she was cheating on him, and he completely vanished from the side of earth. I found him in a bar, drinking, he lost 10KG, he was a mess.

After a few months or so he got his sh1t together, got on track in life and guess who showed up again? Yes his true love (sarcasm) his wife.

She came to apologize, to get back together, to try again.

Ofcourse i told him "do not do this, eject and remove her from your life"

He took her back. They had Sex on that same day.

After she left his place, he found out that she went back again to the other guy and cheated on him once again at the same day after he accepted her apologies and getting back together.

He got devastated, probably suicidal. Was this coming? Of-course it was. Once a cheater, always a cheater that's what we say.

To finalize. He never spoke to her again, he is seeing his kids on a weekly basis, he moved on, and now he is on track.

But the damage he got from this could have been avoided if he knew what the f3uck he was doing.

Moral of the story is: Be sure before you get into marriage. Filter, prepare, avoid catastrophic dissasters.

First off, you cannot "kick someone out" of a house they live in. It doesn't work that way in the US. In fact, it's the #1 biggest thing divorce attorneys will tell you NOT to do - leave the house. Unless you set something up with the judge legally in the case so you don't lose rights.

Once you establish residency there are 2 ways to remove someone. Eviction and divorce. Since he is married, eviction is not happening.

What actually happened is that he simply voluntarily left the house. "Kicking someone out" is simply another way of saying you were asked to leave and you agreed and that it is someone not knowing their rights under the law.

That was a major mistake on his part. It likely cost him in the divorce proceedings too since he voluntarily abandoned his house, family and children.

Yeap, in Cyprus is different though.

Since the house is on her name, she has all the rights in essence, but when i said"he was kicked out" is in essence leaving the house voluntarily yes.

Sounds like typical female behavior to me.
