I've been lurking for a while now, and I keep noticing the same thing over and over.

Any time someone posts a thread with some questions in it, it seems like a handful of guys come in and give AMAZING advice to help the original poster be a man, have sex, have lots of women, and just overall be a pvssy-loving pvssy-getting don juan.

These guys usually say things like:

"cmon don't pay for dates, just fvck her good"
"don't commit to a girl, just spin as many plates as possible"
"be overly confident and super sexual - the only person who's feelings matter are YOURS - that's it!"
"don't take women seriously, they change their mind on a dime - just have fun, have sex, and enjoy the ride"

I am of course paraphrasing the jist of the advice these guys give to people.

My observation is - no one seems to listen to these successful guys, and instead mostly everything these guys give advice on seems to get questioned by the AFC's and confused guys of the forum - what's up with that???

I mean seriously (and I am going to quote a name here - Falcon25), if Falcon25 gives you some advice, and you are an 18 year old dude who has a girlfriend, maybe, just MAYBE you should listen to him and realize that he is trying to save you the trouble of learning things the hard way.

Respect needs to be shown to the members who have "been there, done that" and who currently have a player mindset - these are the guys who know EXACTLY what they are talking about, and they should be fully appreciated, and listened to!

I have noticed this phenomenon. It's because most people will only listen to ideas that makes sense to them and not necessarily if it's a good or bad idea. When a DJ gives advice, it is often advice that are very counter-intuitive to what an AFC would expects. That is because a DJ mentality is very different from an AFC mentality. And when an AFC doesn't understand the value of an advice, he will reject or disagree with it. The kind of people that AFC will listen to are people who's skills are in my definition less AFC but not at the expert DJ level.

And sometimes, there are AFC that only wants to listen to things that they want to hear.

Lead a horse to water - you can't make him drink, but he can cry about it a lot on the internet.

It will drown.

It's just as dangerous for afc's to just accept this advice without questioning why it works and where it came from. By all means, question the advice.
We don't want robots here, do we? They should digest these ideas in their own way, and if that includes questioning then so be it.

They have to learn the hard way. People come on this forum expecting easy answers, or a magic technique that will *instantly* dissolve all of their problems. When they hear what they don't want to, they disregard it and think "Screw that, I can deal with it myself!". They learn the lesson the hard way, but it makes them realize that the people giving them advice were right all along, so they come back and begin to actually learn what the DJ mentality is all about.

Couldn't agree more with the OP. A similar issue I've noticed is that way too many people post about stupid questions or problems that can be answered with pretty basic DJ/anti-AFC behavior.

I have no problem helping others and seeking help myself, but at least browse through some older posts and the DJ bible to see if you can find an answer to your question before posting.

Wow you met a girl and her # last night, good for you, but immediately seeking advice with a new thread on this forum is AFC behavior and needs to stop.

Ironically, threads mentioning this issue usually pop up about once a month too, but I guess that is just a testament to how big of a problem all this AFC posting is.

For anyone interested, the threads below are the answer to about 76.45% of the problems I see on this site:

Plate Theory - http://www.sosuave.net/forum/showthread.php?t=90482

The Cardinal Rule of Relationships - http://www.sosuave.net/forum/showthread.php?t=77115

If guys did not place so much importance on any one woman and accepted that there is no such thing as "one special girl", most of the threads on this site would never be needed, since instead of whining about their problems with some disinterested girl, blokes would be moving onto the next one.

If you currently have too many women chasing you, calling you, harassing you, knocking on your door at 2 o'clock in the morning... then I have the simple solution for you.

Just read my free ebook 22 Rules for Massive Success With Women and do the opposite of what I recommend.

This will quickly drive all women away from you.

And you will be able to relax and to live your life in peace and quiet.

Speculator E wins the prize.

The DJ mindset is completely counter-intuitive and therefore difficult to accept and internalize.

I agree completely. I've been out of the game for a few years in a LTR, and just jumped back on recently to see what was happening. I remember when i began checking around here and training to be a DJ when I was in HS I'd see this advice that seemed like a no brainer but then I'd go out and be like haha fvck that it'll never work. Then one night it just hit me. I was like whatever I have nothing to lose ill say something stupid, touch some girl or talk to someone out of my league without any expectations, and it worked. Suddenly this "ballsy" advice seemed too perfect. Its always uncomfortable trying something new without being confident in your abilities but when you actually try it and nail it once or twice it becomes second nature and you won't believe the possibilities.

It's rarely "knowing" what to do that's a problem, it's almost ALWAYS executing.

In fact, most guys will "know" what to do before they even come to this forum. They only post because they need inspiration to actually DO IT.

Taking the path with the least amount of resistance is human nature - no amount of advice will ever make an AFC simply "snap out of it."

I keep thinking more and more that there's no point in giving guys advice on relationship girl problems, because it seems to be ingrained inside their heads that they have no other choice but to learn the hard way.

It's like, why does the 18 year old high school guy NEVER listen to anyone who tells him it's too young to be in a committed relationship?

They don't want to listen (I didn't want to listen either at that age by the way)........so really, it's just a dead end.

Relationship advice for guys, especially young guys, seems like a dead end and a total waste of time and space. Has there been even ONE young man who has listened to the advice of the don juans on this forum, and ended up making a logical decision to solve his problem?

If anyone has 100 hours worth of free time, please search around and find me at least ONE thread where a guy was clearly in a bad situation with a girl, was given good advice, and ended up following the advice.

Me and plenty of others.

You just discovered the Internet. It's where most people ignore good advices. Go to just about any forum on any field and you'll see the same things.
