None of us are perfect. There really isn't such a thing as perfection. But we are constantly improving, working towards the impossible goal of social, physical, mental, or spiritual apex.

And its good to improve. Which is why you should be happy with yourself even as you suck. Yes, you aren't a Don Juan. I'm not a Don Juan. But be glad you are who you are. You were made this way. God, nature, Phil Collins, whoever, made you this way. Even if you suck with girls, or people in general, you should accept what you've been made to be.

This is because it makes our improvement that much better. If you were suddenly Don Juan DeMarco, or Casanova, or whoever your social role model is, you would no longer be you. To no longer possess the qualities that make you YOU, would be the like putting a gun in your mouth and firing.

I don't mean to be content as you are, because you and I suck. We all do. We need to IMPROVE, dammit! But be grateful you've been made a socially phobic little runt who can't chat up a hottie to save his own ****, because that is you, currently. Some day you and I won't be socially phobic little runts but outgoing, confident MEN who can do anything in life. But until then, it is your identity and to live you must accept that.

And then you'll look back and remember what you once were and see what you are now. The new, confident and outgoing you will be the new you, and you'll have earned it.

In summary: Be glad that you are what you are, even if you currently are dissatisfied with that image. Be glad because it is you, and these qualities make you you. Without them, you'd be someone else. Suicide! And we don't want suicide.

And when you change, you'll be able to see and feel the changes as they occur. You'll have earned them, and you won't lose your identity because your new personality is the new, earned you. A Don Juan, and having worked there from sitting on your arse in front of this screen will be your greatest accomplishment.

(Tell me if you understand what I'm saying. I don't know if I made myself clear in that one. Do you catch my drift?)

'Tis mostly true. Good post. Everyone needs to be ok with how they are at the moment in order to improve, for it's the self-depracating mindset that holds people back in the first place.

Good post, pretty true. 90% of the time that most people hesitate to go up to females is not because they are afraid of being rejected, but the thought that they're not 'good enough' for them, or that you look ugly etc.
