I kinda have to agree with oakrider here. Why not spend a bit more and get some diesels or lacoste? Get something different that will make u stand out from the crowd.

-unique lether look and texture..
-but still youthful and hip..
you have got to be kidding me. No way I would wear those in a professional environment.

Damn, sambas get no love on this board. I love them personally, lightweight, stylish, and comfortable. Definitely not professional no matter what GQ says but they're great shoes.

Well the tongue of the shoe kind of has a paper like feel/thickness. But the shoes are really lightweight which means that they don't feel clunky or draggedy. Albeit the superstars I once had were way more comfortable, these are still fine. My Adidas have a tendency to squeak when I walk in them too, I dunno why.

It all comes down to what kind of style you have. If you have a preppy type of style you may want to lean in towards the lacoste or diesel. Two brands that I personally find lame and trendy. I prefer a very casual style in my dress, unless I'm going to a classy party or a dress to impress kind of club. Adidas represents classic shoes, kind of like what frank sinatra represents.

I got mine in black on white. White on black is cool too. I just like white shoes because they stand out a little better. I only wear them once every third week because white shoes will get dirty rather quickly, and you will never see me wearing a pair of shoes that looks like you played a few games of basketball in them.

Sign up over there and start a thread, young blood. Thing is, your personal fashion, is YOUR OWN. Have fun with it and remain congruent.

Peace.

Don't try to get your style from a bunch of dudes on the internet. Look at the guys you see most ofter that have the most success. Don't dress exactly like, but put your own twist to it.

It's the man that makes the clothes. Not the clothes that make the man.
