Saw this article on the homepage. I do think this is pretty accurate. Idgaf about the majority of shoes but obviously women do, and there certainly are a lot of men who obsess over having trendy sneakers like Jordans or whatever the fvck is trendy now.

I have some offbrand wingtip boots that I wear when I wanna look more spiffy, they're decent enough, but they're getting worn down. Eventually I plan to replace theme with these: https://taftclothing.com/products/the-preston-in-eden

For my street/workout shoes I wear these https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CL7KLY8Z

Post any shoes you like or any nice deals you see.

I'm all for threads that put the emphasis on style. Having said that, personally I'm struggling with choosing the right type of shoes. I'm still stuck in my Nike air max / Timbaland phase.

Tbh I don't really like both of your examples, but that's more me being uncomfortable with the idea of wearing them. Puma isn't my brand , I'd rather go for....Nike..fecking boring I know..

I hope this thread takes off and gives me some inspiration. Because for some odd reason the so-called "Don Juans" here don't like.tp talk about that.

Shoe stores feel like the last stand for brick and mortar retail. I had to buy a pair for a funeral recently, and the first two pairs I tried on felt like blocks of wood. I wouldn't have bought the more expensive pair had I not gotten to try them on first.

Still waiting for a woman to come up to me while I am wearing my kick ass plum, pimp shoes and say "Nice shoes, wanna fvck?"

I don't really give a fvck about sneakers/athletic shoes, I bought those because they were on sale, I'm not loyal to any brand. I just think spending more than $50 on athletic shoes is asinine and clown behavior.

The dress shoes definitely aren't something to wear unless you are feeling as confident as ever.

I mean, I've had many many compliment my wingtip boots. At my brief stint in working in a law form, I wore a nice dress shirt, dress pants, and wingtip boots every day, and women approached me after work even though I was less fit at the time.

Not saying shoes or fashion will carry you completely but obviously it helps. And I will go out on a limb and say if you wear something like those nice dress shoes I posted, with a really nice tailored 3 piece suit and a watch, I guarantee women everywhere will give you strongeer IOIs and probably approach you even more. Most men dress like bums, so you'll stand out. White men especially think it's cool to dress bummy and pretend not to care.
