Just to validate the OP, you know what, this is just common sense. It's like anything else under the sun. You have to get a sense of any skill that you know and in order to do that you have to go do what it is you want to do. You also come back from the field and get advice, and people who know will give advice for different reasons, one of which is to make themselves feel good about themselves. If you don't understand this, then you are either so ****ing stupid that you must be on drugs, or you have been kept up in a cave your whole life.
